3 awful errors by Momo on match pints *shakes head* Lucky on the 4th. A match to forget Which it will be after today. Franny rolling Muller. But at least Martina got this far.

Disgusting match. I feel better about JJ's chances now, but I suspect Amelie won't repeat this kind of "performance".
And I can't believe Dushevina was once though to be a great prospect.

Assumption: Jankovic def. Mauresmo. Don't joke. Jankovic isn't the pinnacle of mental fortitude, but given Mauresmo's performance today, I think it's a very possible upset.

Mauresmo's performances generally don't improve from round to round at RG. What was up with Mary praising Mauresmo's game. While she was hitting at least three errors per game by the end of the match.

Yay. Amelie sucking means Penis cruises to the semis, and likely the final.

If both of them play like they did today, Jelena wins. She was surprisingly unbothered by the loss of 1st set and numerous rain delays. And she made virtually no errors in 3rd set.

Playing Mauresmo and playing Bartoli are two very different propositions. For Mauresmo, playing Dushevina and playing Jankovic, not much different.
Jankovic = toast

Playing Mauresmo and playing Bartoli are two very different propositions. Indeed. Jelena prefers playing against top players. But, Amelie will find her game and win.

For Mauresmo, playing Dushevina and playing Jankovic, not much different. Which means that she will at the very least choke badly again, no?

I have no faith in Jankovic.
In my WTA predictions, I always take into account what I would hate most to see. Penis d. Amelie in the QF via massive gags would be tops. Therefore, that will happen. Then, a Maria/Penis SF.

Chucho is about to lose... to Dlouhy. Dlouhy is a great player! He took a set off Schüttler in Hamburg.

I had Chucho as a sleeper to win before Hamburg, but after seeing his performances there, I admit I was wrong. He's not there mentally yet to win many tough clay court matches.

But she's playing much better tennis now. You think that she's at the same level as Dushevina, with today's stunning performance.

That Kiefer was on all day on Eurosport I went out at 2 with mates, came back at 5 and he was STILL on Amelie is horrible at the French, but we know that. How the fuck Dushevina is Top 100 and has success is beyond me. Her serve is a copy of Dementieva and just has prone to doubles. But unlike Elena, her groundies have no effect on anyone. Her forehand is painful to watch. Her backhand is consisent but it isn't a weapon. The only time she looks OK is when she goes to the net. If Jelena's attitude is good and she's smiling and playing well, Amelie will lose in straights if she puts in a similar performance to today.

That match didn't count!
It was like 40 degrees out there, and both players had to wear jackets.
Damned stupid clay season that's too early for northern Europe to be playing.

Jankovic doesn't make tons of errors though. Amelie needs to play a solid match to win. That was not the case today.
