Queen Masha blows a setpoint at 5-3 (or was it two?) and loses the opening set 7-5.

Eggcellent. So Eurosport doesn't show any tennis until 3? Yes. Except if it rains wherever they are motorbiking, then it might be around 4.

Ali, you have coverage? We have motorsports or whatever until 5 pm. Grar Yeah, I'm getting the live feed from the FFT. Sharapova's forehand was off in the first set when they kept on trading breaks. Once things settled down, Dinara hit some nice winners to keep Sharapova off and win the opener. Dinara's been doing her fair share of fist pumping and "Come on!"'s as well. ;D Maria just broke to open the second. I wonder if she'll manage to consolidate this time. Maria and Dinara have stared down the other end quite a few times!

Umpire points to the incorrect mark and an out ball by Safina is called good. This game should have been over. From 40-0 to the break for Safina. What fucking bullshit.

Because the umpire didn't check the right mark earlier, Sharapova get broken. She was leading 40-0.
It's over for Francesca.

Maria Sharapova is really not lucky at the two thousand and six French Open. She deserves to be a in the second week playing against either Francesca Schiavone of Italy or Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia. Her Russian opponent is playing a great match however. [/the cat]

I have a feeling that Schiavone will lose to Sveta after having matchpoint. I suspect Schiavone is too fatigued to put up much more of a fight.

Schiavone is a headcase and will never amount to anything. She might not even win a tournament.
