Yes she did, Yi Brin, but that was second round. She trounced Hungarian Barbie in 1R.

katie O'Brien's beating Tax -- I guess katie'll be this year's tabloid "spunky Brit heroine" for winning a main draw round. Garbin leads 3-0 in the third. Never underestimate a Brit girl's ability to create a loss out of any situation!

"Set point now for Soderling, double fault from Henman. The Swede taking the set despite being on the back foot throughout, 10-8 in the breaker."

Monfils has split sets with Igor K. If Gael reaches the R16 I'lll eat Molala's hat. Ok, if he reaches the 3rd round, I'll buy a hat! I do like the way he moves though. He was bery impressive in beating Ljubicic at Queens. I'm watching Paulo vs. Poo. Allez, Paulo!!

Never underestimate a Brit girl's ability to create a loss out of any situation! Yep, Garbin won 6-2 in the 3rd. So I guess the Brit tabloids will be celebrating a spunky Italian geezer this year.

Zheng d. Hurley's Benesova 7-5 6-2. Not sure why Tammy was waaay down to Castano, but at least it's 5-5 now. Jackson lost set one to Flipkens. That would be a bit of an upset/choke job. Andre down a break ... I don't like this at all ...

"Henman takes the set! Wife Lucy applauding with the rest of the crowd. 2-1 to Henman now and within a set of a second round showdown with Roger Federer, who has just blasted away Richard Gasquet in three rather quick sets on Centre Court."

Andre recovered from 40-0 on Pashanki's serve to BP. Roar, deuce. Castano 6-5. Daniela looks as if she'll win. 4-1 in the third. Jackson now up 4-1 and gamepoint in the second ... I thought (and hoped, oh did I hope) that Douche might lose to Morigami but that is a ways off at 1-6 4-4 for Vera ... I picked Laine to beat Dulko.
