Finally something good happened at this Wimbly.
Oh, and Pee will be, at best, ranked 22nd now. Yay.

Mauresmo is demolishing Crapp. Nadal took care of Agassi. I like Day 6.

Thank GOD.
Y'all need to listen to me more. Granted, I expected Penis to go a couple rounds further, but, come on...lightning does NOT strike twice. Especially like...the red lightning of last year.

BP blown by Roddick at 4-4. He shouldn't win this match, he must be like 4% on breakers.

In an hour or so, the only American left in either singles draw will be: Shenay Perry

Not really anybody on the horizon. That said, players like Jackson and Perry should be respectable and the game could use a break from the USA being dominant.

I would suppose that the seeding of Roddick is a real good case against the special seedings. There was nothing in his play this year that suggested he was the third best player in the world. His last two Wimbledons were good, but his last two years were too.
Now down 1-2 0-30 in the third ... this might be over rapidly.

The battle of the evil Andies. At least one will be gone today. Or maybe not, if the lesser evil feels my love and wins set 3. Come on Mopey, start feeling injured.

Not really anybody on the horizon. That said, players like Jackson and Perry should be respectable and the game could use a break from the USA being dominant. Indeed. And the men's side might not be so great, either... I don't see Roddick ever getting back to a Top 5 level, and I don't expect Blake to hang around the higher levels of tennis for long. The negatives of this is that we may lose more tennis coverage in the US. Which is why I always bitch that the stupid stations should focus more on foreign players.

Ack, Roddick is terrible. I hope someday that a player with that powerful of a bug serve, could at least be respectable in any other area of the game.

Murray . I really enjoyed watching him dismantle Roddick's game. Not easy to do, Roddick erased a lot of bp's with aces. But Murray played smart - lobs, drop shots, return winners, passing shots, the whole thing. I hope he defeats Baghdatis on Monday. And I'm actually glad England is out of the World Cup. They just never deserved to win it and like the hyping of Henman at Wimby in previous years, the media here has really hyped up their chances without solid basis. I've watched enough matches the last few weeks to see that they suck compared to most of the nations that made the quarters. So the hype was just getting annoying, please get real. I'm glad it's over.
