I'm watching Hingis, she was really unlucky at 30-30, Shuai's defensive lob just caught the line, and than at set point Martina hit a pretty shitty 2nd serve that Peng easily attacked and won the set. But Hingis is very agressive and coming to the net a lot, which is a good sign. I think she still has a good chance to win this.

He's got big muscles. Little too old in the face, though. Oh, and Roger is winning. I didn't even know. Heh.

Too bad. I keep hoping that Spanky has some good luck after his tough loss to Guga, and 7 years later I'm still waiting!

BOO MARTINA!
If she loses, just cancel the women's event.

Tina trailing 6-4. After beating up on Monica 15 times in 20 matches, one would imagine Tina would know how to handle the double double-handers. Pathetic backhand error by Tina. Melanie needs to start hitting her or something.

Okay, so Peer b. PENG 0 and 1. PENG b. Hingis 6-4
That means, Peer b. Hingis 6-0 without losing a point!

Hingis just challenged an obviously correct call (it was visibly out by a mile). I'll never understand this.

Spanky and The Love Muscle = Michael Russell Oh! I thought maybe it was a new nickname for Hingis. She looks a little bit like Spanky from the old Little Rascals films. ;D

I remember when Guga drew the heart in the clay after that match -- Russell said "I thought he was going to invite me to play tic tac toe."

I get one or two rallies and then they switch over to another match. Right now, we're treated to yet another Roger early-round scrub thrashing. Yawn.

I guess we'll get Hingis again in a few minutes? Probably she's gone to the lockerroom to change her shirt and hairdo and have a good cry, like in the RG final of '99.

Fed wins 6-4, 6-1, 6-0. It's like the days when Steffi owned the WTA and all the scrubs were thrashed in the opening rounds of GS tournaments.

Still no Tina for us in the US. And I don't even care because now the most important thing is that POTITO'S GETTING KILLED OUT THERE!!

I've got Mike Crispino and Rennae Stubbs commentating Tina's match. Stubbs commentating on Tina. Hee. Mike is a useless commentator, if he can even be called that.
Tina looking good for the 3-set win, unless she pulls a Wimbledon-like stunt.
