I'm always droning on about the hopeless South American ladies, but Canada seems to be just as pathetic these days, with only 2 women in the top 200. I didn't realize it was so bad, but the rankings convinced me: 144 WOZNIAK, ALEKSANDRA 153 DUBOIS, STEPHANIE 238 PELLETIER, MARIE-EVE 294 DRAKE, MAUREEN 371 EL TABAKH, HEIDI 390 TETREAULT, VALERIE 490 SHULAEVA 497 GLORIA, MELANIE 617 FICHMAN, SHARON

(Sorry I accidentally erased Shulaeva's first name. She's not trying to be a one-named Madonna or anything, just a typing error!)

Sheesh, the tennis honor of a whole country is resting on the narrow shoulders of Daniel Nestor! Dancevic's ranking is not too bad, though; that's a pleasant surprise. Otherwise, the male ranking list might as well be Britain's! (women's is sadly Britlike as well)

heh, well thankfully, I'm not THAT out of touch that I thought he reached the regular RG semis. I'm Wow about a North American getting that far in a clay Slam, even junior-sized one.
