Actually, don't know where to put a pic of Finnish curling team. So I create this one so any kind of Finnish atheletes can appear here. The Finnish team is playing the World Championship in Winnipeg, Canada. Yes, Winnipeg is the home town of Winnie the Pooh! From Left: Markku Uusipaavalniemi (skip), Kalle Kiiskinen(3rd), Aku Kauste(2nd), Teemu Salo (1st)and alternate Tony Traskelin source: official web site of 2003 world curling championship

Unfortunately for the Finnish curling team. They lost to Switzerland and then Norway so they have to settle for a 4th place in World Curling Championship!

Firstly there is Jari Litmanen ex Liverpool. The man is a hero in Finland and Holland and to Barcelona and Liverpool fans. He spent a year or so here but never quite got his chance sadly:( He is a genius but he may not have the coolest hair Also captain of the Finnish national team.

lol it was strange. My PE teacher had organised for him to come into school and teach a theory lesson. I was like ;D and we ended up talking for ages after lesson and he gave me his autograph and we loads of pictures taken but my friend ripped it up! so I had to go and find him again and he organised for me to come down to Anfield to train with the team ;D so it was very good!

aha some news on Mikael Forssell for you Hackie He is currently playing in Germany for Borussia Monchengladbach and he scored for them last week apparently. He is being linked with a move to Roma in Italy. So if I were hunting for him, I'd be heading for Germany and not London!
