It should be noted that A-Rod hit a GW HR today.
Of course, it will be forgotten by tomorrow by his zillion haters, once he strikes out or something again.

They show baseball on C5 for endless hours some nights. I don't think you can really laugh at cricket.

We already have a baseball thread, Leelee.
Yes, I hope it gets A-Rod out of his slump. He hasn't had a game winning hit like that in quite a while.

I didn't see on the first page.
Baseball and cricket equally blow. But, I'm forced to like it since it's always on TV. And they have some hawt players.

I follow the Houston Astros moreso than I follow tennis. Too bad lately they've been more like the disastros.

As long as you don't hate Bjorkman! You know how I feel about geezers! Always taking away opportunity from spritely newcomers like say, that Agassi fellow.

Agassi is an impressive whippersnapper. I predict that some day he will win all four majors.

1st inning, though. That's not very CLUTCH. Should hang out with A-Rod instead of Deej.

Yeah. BIG PAPI, who will make it into the All Star game with a 1B position, even though he's not a first baseman. Good stuff.
Last game I saw the Jays in was when they played the Mets, and Towers fucking blowed. What else is new.

Last game I saw the Jays in was when they played the Mets, and Towers fucking blowed. What else is new. Towers is absolutely terrible and they sent him down again, luckily. I wanted them to use Taubenheim in his spot and now they are. Good idea. They have won five straight and caught the Yankees, though. If Burnett stays healthy and Chacin comes back and pitches well, they can win the division. Pitching has been the problem. I'd like to see Ricciardi go out and get another starter before the trade deadline. Nobody great, KC's Mark Redman would do. Re-acquire Escobar from the last-place Angels. Something like that. There's a really good case that, right now, Toronto is one of the eight best teams in the majors. But they are in the wrong division and the wrong league. But god, breaking the Yanks-Sox monopoly on the East would be sweet.

A-Rod hits a GRAND SLAM to pull the Yanks ahead 6-4. Great stuff, and I'm glad he's finally out of his killer slump.
I like how Lo Duca was trying to get into it with A-Rod, and he and Giambi were about to jump him. Good stuff.

Giambi represents the Yankee's only offense. Again.
And he is ROBBED of a hit by pitch call. Stupid fucks.
