Shahar leads 6-3 4-0. 10 sets from her 1st major. LOL. But she's playing great. Many people in Yi Brin's contest actually picked Golovin over her! It's a tough draw for both, no doubt, but I would be very surprised if Tati won that one. I must hold out hope for Shahar. I don't want to see anyone else win. Well, except Amelie, but that's not happening. And Martina, which is negative happening.

Zuzana must BEAT the evil Golovin.

Muller wins the second set. At least I can still hope for that upset.
Spadea has won the first set from Hrbaty!

Kremer loses, 6-7 2-6. Serena bests last year's majestic result.
Now ... she plays Nadia. They played two years ago here, and Nadia got a set. Now, she must win, or hideousness will follow.

I mean, she EQUALS last year's majestic result.
Golovin is savaging Ondraskova. I am sad.
Muller down 0-2 in the third. I am sadder.

ESPN is racist. They have to show every point of every williams sister match. Rediculous

ESPN is racist. They have to show every point of every williams sister match. Rediculous Indeed. And they can't even show all of Sexxy Blake's match. He's Top 5. And very attractive!

This must be the most boring day of a GS ever.
Or maybe I just don't care anymore.

I hope it's not just me, but this slam has really sucked so far. Other than the first half of Blake/Moya which was high quality, and that crazy 1st set of Andrew/Joe Willy... everything I've watched has been so dull.
And part of that goes to Lleyton for speeding this surface up. It's killed the fun rallies we used to get on this surface.

Sugiyama and the Yak hav gone hog wild. It's 8-8.

The Yak wins, 6-2 2-6 10-8. Great win for her.
Spadea sadly has failed against Rahrbaty.
Srebotnik has a narrow lead against Benesova.
Safin has snatched control of the match back from Dudi.
I applied some nice-tasting chapstick just now.

Poutchkova and Mauresmo are now on. Olga may give Amelie a match.
Srebotnik survived Benesova 7-6 6-7 6-1. Now she plays ... the Vaidisova-Sequera winner. BEAT HER, Kat. Beat her!
Camerin d. Vesnina 8-6 in the third, to Lena's further dismay.

"(I was) down the highway, one-way ticket, and there was no chance for me to break him. So I asked for the lights. I asked them to stop the match because it was really a little bit slippery, so I just wanted to stop the match. I wasn't an a**hole, but I used the opportunity."

Other than the first half of Blake/Moya which was high quality, and that crazy 1st set of Andrew/Joe Willy... everything I've watched has been so dull. I agree. And Blake vs Moya and the Roddick vs Tsonga 1st set TB were also what I found most interesting so far. There has been some DRAMA on the women's side, with all those three setters and marathon matches - but sadly none of it happened on the televised courts.

Sharapova vs Pin was interesting for about 30 seconds I actually believed Camille could win.
And who the hell is that in that picture above?
