Not that I'm incredibly optimistic about Tina being in the semis, but hey.

Martina comes in, dumps an easy volley in the net.
4-2 Kim.

1-0 Hingis
Kim defends her ass off, gets a sitter, and puts it feet long. Please continue.

How is Serena not going to win this? Unless Vaidisova totally forgets about her last GS semi performance, there's no way I trust Maria or Kim not to choke in a final against her. Not that I'd watch anyway

Amazing point, Kim playing incredible defense, but Martina still hits a FH winner

2-1 Hingis Hingis hits a DF at 0-40. A "horrible double fault" sez Eurosport (I suppose there are no good ones!)

Kim had 62 UEs in the match. Martina was up 2-0, and won one more game.
She really needs to re-assess.

We did, yes.
But Kim must now beat Sharapova. It would be hideous not to. Not that this tournament hasn't been hideous ...

Davydenko is looking pretty good for a semifinal at a tournament someone cares about.

Gonzo playing much better than Nadal, Nadal hits his forehand with too much spin He sure is playing better. Very one-sided so far, and if FG makes this break stand up, I don't think Rafa can come back from 2 sets down.

I think he would still lose in straight sets to fed
Only Roddick in a final could produce an exciting match, and rodick in a slam final is gross
