I certainly am. I went to our tennis club today and they've started to remove old clay from the courts and will put in some new ones. They've cleaned and pruned the plants around the place too. I'll wait for a go signal from our "Platzchef" so he can turn on the boilers then i'll start cleaning up the clubhouse. I'm having a meeting next week with my beer supplier. I wanted to change brands but will have to check out who's got the better offer. I still don't have a car so i'm a bit crippled from going around and checking out new pricelists of products. We're officially opening on the 19th of April, and i'll be preparing an apero for the members. With the weather getting better everyday it feels like spring already. ;D

Its been really nice here too although a huge storm is going to blow in tonight Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything goes well! I wish we had clay courts here, but alas no, just hard. I'll find a clay court if I die trying, LOL!!

I've been idle for the last months so am looking forward to do something again, and make money out of it. Yes, hope it goes well, it will depend mostly on good weather. Good thing about it is that i don't work hard everyday, so in between i still am a paying clubmember and can play whenever i want to. Michel's parents' place has also claycourts at the back of their place and also hold tournaments there. I'll take some pics for you when the timing is right!

Michel's parents need to drag their son home and do something to him!! He hasn't got a prayer against the Frenchies if he's struggling with Meligeni But LOL, any pictures would be greatly appreciated, as I'm sure you already know!

July is easy, as most members go off on holidays, then August & Sept. are club tournaments for singles and doubles. (I play matches then, and i let someone do my job ;D) We also host a local doubles tournament where players from other clubs participate. During these events we put a bar in the garden which overlooks the courts. Most members hang out till late in the evening . It's really a cool place. Yeah, Krati...que pasa? Hope he performs better than this during DC.

Looks like you have a lot of fun with your club Mrs. B.
Still thinking about joining our one haven't made up my mind yet. But I guess it would be worth it.
To bad for Krati. I really hope he can put his game together again!!
Come on Michel "we" need good results from you!!

Doris, it's certainly worth it to be a club member. You can play as much as you can, i even play with the ball machine. lol. Actually, it's not bad 'cuz you get to practice your strokes. There's a few women i get to hit with, sometimes with my husband, sometimes with our top ranked players, but they wear me out fast. Still, any possibility to hit is most welcome. There's also a Filipina kollegin who just joined last year, i hit with her too, no prob. I 'm happy to be on the court and to move. ;D btw., i saw this woman at the coop this afternoon working at the Gemeinde and asked her where Krati lives...he's on Dorfstrasse.... *hear that, Hackie?*

Hehe, I'd probably be ecstatic just being around clay for the first month or so Sounds like its enjoyable and rewarding! Yes, I remember you talking about participating in a few tournaments on ATPWorld last year, but I wasn't too clear on the structure of it all, but it sounds really cool I think they have such things here in the states, but tennis is so under the radar that you'd have to seek out a club league -- they don't exactly advertise

Thank goodness my lessons start next week, then we'll see just how much of a Hack I really am, LOL What am I hearing? Am I hearing a street address, LOL? Or the faint rumblings of my Swiss liason to stalk?

Am I hearing a street address, LOL? Or the faint rumblings of my Swiss liason to stalk? I know this street, as our community is quite small, so it's 4 sts. parallel to ours. I could get the house number too, but i don't want to stalk him, i'll just wait for another occasion when i'll see him and i'll ask him something! But i can take a pic of his flat outside for you... I'm off again. Dinner with friends...later!

I think Krati's ad is unregistered. He also just moved here in Gümligen. The one in Ostermundigen is his Dad. I'll check if his phone no. shows up in the tel search... But the woman at the Gemeinde said she'll email me his ad if i really wanted it. I asked it discreetly so she probably thought i needed the info for our tennis club or something.

What a good spy you are! So many Kratochvils? Is it that common a name or are they ALL related? Can't imagine it... Hackie: nice pic of Micha, isn't it? But Rogi's nose is BIGGER!

HI! LOL at the nose talk. How about Ivo H. or George B., they're Swiss but their noses aren't that big! Well you know the myth, the bigger the nose, the bigger the asset. ;D

A lot of people say that... maybe that's why Rogi's big nose doesn't bother me! The heat is brutal in Miami this year -- recordbreaking! Hope our guys will be OK! Some play today: Hewitt, Juanqui, Alex, Carlos, Misha, Paradorn, Max... good luck to them! Breakie!

OMG!! It's become the Michel Kratochvil Stalking Party Kidding, kidding. RF: Nobody could touch Rogi's nose, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw lokon's picture was that. Perhaps I was influenced by all of the nose talk from yesterday ;D

oh good lord, first the spa now the nose. Is that right? did Lleyton really lose to Clavet? I'm stunned! I was so sure Rogi w have to beat him again in this tourney. So Lleyton loses and Paradorn finally wins a match. how wacky! and maybe RF knows who Verdasco is cause i sure dont and i usually know ppl i've never heard of. and what is w this disturbing trend of Americans winning all of a sudden. Fish, Ginepri, Martin? Things are just getting out of control. Rogi plays Horna whos a qualie and qualies are bad so Rogi must be v awake! I wonder if all the ppl who were sick last week are better, like Marat. Hope so. The heat does seem brutal! dont they have some kind of a heat rule, like at the AO?

Hi Lily! Fernando Verdasco is a Spanish player from Madrid, who won the Spanish Junior title in 2001 and was finalist in the Spanish National vs. Robredo last year. So he's coming up in the ranks in Spain -- good! They need more good young players. Cheering for ROGI today!! HOPP! PL was scouting out Horna, acc. to MMGirl -- she met Rogi and PL!! Hope she reports here!
