God, I can't believe we actually have Granville v Krajicek for the QF. Ugh, Granville, just ugh ugh ugh. They just showed MP and I can't stand her boring game or her boring face or just general SUCKINESS.

Granville stinks even on the ITF circuit. This week's results came out of nowhere. Hingis actually had more W than UE; looks like she flubbed all the big points. And her 2nd serve is still so wienie; I can't believe she can't do anything about that. 76 mph average, come on. This is not 1980.

And I can't remember her game; she hasn't played on tv in years, I don't think.

Daniela d. Srebotnik 2-6 6-3 6-4. A usual, Daniela struggles but wins and Kat almost wins but chokes.

Um, did JCF really beat Blake on grass? lol.
Bjorkman vs. Arthurs tomorrow!!! Why didn't someone tell me!!! It's the oldest match in history!

Tsonga in the fourth round ...
This is turning into another Roger beatdown of the highest order.

Watching it, it's more like a Safin meltdown. Well, not a meltdown, that would imply there was initially something of substance to melt.

Minor positive of Silliams playing well = Hanturexia beatdown.

Granville won't get back to being seeded in slams like she was a couple years ago... when she simply won a few ITFs and a zillion quali matches.
I'm fine with Misa probably making the QF. She's better than most of you think. And she's got a very good serve.
But, Chak, ugh.

What the fuck is up with these real jock banners? They're on WTA World and here as well. Gross.
Verdasco seemed to get nervous everytime he led in the third set. He player better from behind. Barf.

Boris Becker on Verdasco: "He's a man with a strong body but a fragile mind."

That's better than having a fragile body with a fragile mind, at least!

Anybody give Bartoli a shot at Jankovic?

Tomorrow's matches will be interesting. Paszek-Dementieva, Azarenka-Vaidisova, A-Rad- Kuznetsova ... Santangelo-Mauresmo might be good. And here's hoping for an all-Japanese fourth round in the bottom there.

Anybody give Bartoli a shot at Jankovic? No. Tina matched her result from last year: pretty good considering the circumstances. I mean, losing to Granville in the third round of Wimbledon is no worse than losing to Razzano in the second round of the US Open.

Anybody give Bartoli a shot at Jankovic? Only if Jelena is really, really tired. She'll have a couple of days to rest now so I don't think it will be the case.

This time, though, she's been hurt and admits in her interview she's still not 100%. She could very easily have been out in her first round with Cavaday. I think this event is a minor success, actually.

Why does Batty suddenly care about staying in Wimbledon. Her ranking is down, and she has a lot of points coming off soon from last year's early US hardcourt season, so she can't afford to tank Wimbledon like she did in the past. Chak - that was one shocking loss. I thought the commentator had got it wrong when I first heard it. Went out of my way to watch Fed vs Safin not because I thought it would be any good but because I didn't want to be the only one not to have seen it. During yesterday's rain delay, they showed most of JCF d. Blake taped. Too bad I didn't have time to watch all of it; it looked fun. JCF was running from side to side like a windshield wiper and getting everything back. So weird seeing somebody play like that on grass.
