Oh look, a Brit is about to play the match of her life on C18 and lose in three to Alona B. Apparently on our new TV package the BBCi channels don't exist. Which is the price we pay for now having Eurosport, I guess, but it means that this is the only match I can watch. South is really terrible. She can only win points if she whales away on the serve or ROS and either hits a winner or gets A-Bond scrambling. A-Bond, meanwhile, is doing "just enough", as they say. She looks cool, actually! Funky asymmetric neckline on her dress, pink hairpieces and a Kournikova-esque plait, massive tattoo on her back. Saw the end of Kuznetsova v Johansson...Sweta won like 12 of the last 13 points. Johansson looked as if she had nothing to her game at all and I have no idea how the previous two-and-a-half sets happened. Presumably the Sweta UE Special once again. Korolev and Haase losing their respective five-setters Oh no, Nishikori retired! I was hoping to watch him on Wednesday. I shall have content myself with Pavlyuchenkova v Li.

Lolz, Sam Smith just compared South to Davenport.

Well, you'll just have to come for more than ONE measly day to see the other outside court matches then! I actually didn't think Melanie was that bad! I got bored after a few games of the second set. Alona looks cool, but her skin could do with some improving. Best not get any tips off her opponent for that though. Tranny up 5-3 against Tits. CAKE is making an impressive start to her final defense, on CC, no less! Why are they playing all these extra matches on there? Do they usually do this?

Some of us have JOBS!
They've definitely moved matches to CC and No 1 in the past.
Cake is playing really well. Where has this Cake been for the past year? She's so much fun to watch - it's unbelievable to see the angles she comes up with, how she takes the ball earlier and earlier as the rally progresses, how her anticipation is so keen that even Lisicki's most powerful shots have no effect.

Frank Dancevic is hot! Admit it!
And he beat the stink out of Nalbandian. That was huge!
Djokovic lost a set ...
Happy to see Ancic win.
How did Spadea lose that one?
Karlovic? What happened?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Surprised that Bartoli played so well.
Kuznetsova should have done us all a favor and just lost to Johansson. Now it's up to the Bonds to take her down.
Amelie won. What an odd sentence that has become.
Zi Yan got just three games from AMG. How is that ... possible?
Kvitova lost to Perebiynis. Tatiana does nothing all year and I forget about her.
U-Rad justifies that wildcard, I guess.
I am saddened for Kerber. The shame of losing to a Brit wildcard at Wimbledon may forever haunt her.
Mattek is winning far too many matches lately.
It's been said before, but Amelie really is finished. I don't know what caused it, but her shots became so weak and pitiful in less than a 2 year span. Now her only successful gameplan is the loopy defensive garbage.
If Serena is in any sort of form, it indeed will be ugly.
