I'll be honest here too. Grosjean did not get distracted by the racket. He just put the volley into the net. The easiest volley ever. Horrible horrible player he is.
Kiefer's still an ass of course, and point penalty would have been the correct decision.

Kiefer, who is expected to face Grosjean again in next month's Davis Cup tie in Halle, Germany, said he had apologised to Grosjean and counted him as a friend. "I don't know (about apologising). Not in the locker room," Grosjean said. "I mean, 'friend' is a big word. No I was a little bit disappointed in the way he threw the racquet on such a big point. So even if he was expecting to lose the point, that's not the way it is."

KFC blows. That match showed why women's tennis is so ugly. Her entire gameplan was to hit as hard as possible early in points, and force Tina back from the baseline. Even if that meant making a ton of errors. Diarrhea.
Once Tina gets more accustomed to that type of power, she's going to be crushing shit like Kim. .. as long as Tina remains true to her word, continues to work hard, and believes she'll get better over time. Her overall game is so much more complete than the rest of this joke of a tour.
Except for that serve, though. It's just so "I don't care. Let's get the point started!". When ESPN showed the comparison of her serve to Justine's... it was pretty sad.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO BATTY I guess the long wait drove her round the bend -- she's always so close anyway that it doesn't take much to flip her right out. What an idiot she is! Congrats to Am, though. She'll be plenty fresh for her semi. We're counting on you, Am! (even though we pretty much believe you will choke like a dog)

I care about Justine winning. Which barring disaster, she will.
I want to watch Tokyo.

I want her to win, but I couldn't watch another AO 04 final over again. U-G-L-Y.
I have a really, really bad feeling she might screw up against Maria. If it's a Kim-Maria final, the world ends.

No. Justine is beating that, and hard. She steps up her game for Maria. And if she does on these courts, with Maria's form, I'm smelling another 6-4 6-2.

First person to guess who it is wins a cookie!
No, not Monique Viele.
It isn't Rebecca Minger, either!

My wish is that Kim sprains her ankle and has to retire. I believe in karma. One round too late!! Although, Amelie winning was also good. Despite Justine killing her tomorrow.
