Mine is showing cycling as well. I think the only reasonable explanation is that ES2 doesn't have the rights for matches on Ashe. But maybe this is for the better, the way that match has been going.

BAG That would probably have been the same score in 2008, so she may well be "back". Watching Fran/A-Pav. A-Pav is just not a good player, at all. Seriously, how do people think she'll win Slams. OTOH, Fran is putting on some virtuoso display

There were serve-and-volleys on second serves, there were dropshot-lob combos followed two points later by a dropshot-BH drive, there was one amazing FH DTL after she'd effortlessly soaked up all of A-Pav's power. Great stuff. Swashbuckling and fearless - she really has no pressure on her at all to do anything, now that she's achieved more than anyone ever thought she would.
Also, A-Pav is shit.

So has Venus been wearing this dress in the previous matches as well? Or she had a party to go to tonight and just had to stop for her match in between? WTF?
This US Open is so boring on the women side. St.Kim, Sunshine and Sharapova refuse to lose and give me happy moments, at least Venus usually is reliable for doing just that. And one of the Sunshine/Sharapova will be out, I can't decide who I want to lose more.
Can't Fran win this slam? She'll be a double slam winner, that would be fun. I still have Sveta and Lena D, but both of them will predictably lose to some player I hate.

I'm watching Nadal-Simon. Remember when Nadal was 12 and used to puff his service in around 100mph? My commentators thought that deserved a 5 minute conversation. They weren't wrong. I vaguely recall many a thread on MTF where it would be said that Nadal would never improve his serve and was all he'd ever be... at 18. I knew that was stupid.
I don't like the color of Nadal's shirt.

All the ESPN crew could talk about in Rafa's first two matches is how big his serve has become. IVO NADAL. They might be taking it too far, but yeah. I just don't understand the n00bs who looked at him at 18 and thought "now there's a guy who's never going to beef up his serve". Dipshits. Anyway, I didn't notice Simon's hair. I will look at it now, and be unimpressed. I can't believe he had a kid. It must be half the size of a normal baby. Sharing the court with hulking Nadal makes Simon look even tinier. I'm not seriously watching this match. It looks boring.

Big upset for Qureshi/Bopanna! That team just keeps getting better and better. Go Stan! As Lady said, the women's side is becoming dreary as it usually does in the 2nd week of a Justine-free Slam, but we do still have Fran, and that makes up for a lot.
