I think we need to take a moment to review the Peng-Radwanska head-to-head.

Todd has great long limbs. He's so...long. Rahr. I am just realizing that a Pennetta win will probably throw her against BEPA. Now I'm really going for Petra! Yeah, so is Vera.

Pennetta is fighting so hard, but wow, it's like trying to fight the tide.

Petra looks like Elisabeth Moss. I mean, facially. She's got a foot on Peggy O.

Oh no! janiehub came in the room, looked at Dolgo on the the tv, looked puzzled and said, "Who's she?" :l Did you say "butch Mauresmo"?? No, I burst out laughing. Kvita just displayed a whole breast to the camera while waiting to return serve.

Is Soderling about to fall apart in the fourth set? From 4-0 to 4-3 ... still a break ...
And Petra wins! 3-6 6-3 6-3! So Vera will be relieved that she does not have to contend with Pennetta. But ... Kvitova might actually be tougher.

Lex was sure right about Kvita; it was due to his posts about her Stosur win that I thought she might turn this around.
Poor Flavia, though!

Todd saw Dolgo's bright green shirt and raised him one with this bright yaller one. What will Dolgo counter with, day-glo pink?

I think I might root for Petra over Bepa because I enjoy her game more, and she's a lefty. Despite her constant cleavage display.

Petra is now 9-0 to begin the season. Pennetta ... has had a great career. No doubt she wants her Schiavone moment, but nobody else does. By the by, isn't Claudio Pistolesi (Soderling's new coach) Anna Smashnova's husband? Kvitova has some interesting 2010 losses ... 2 and 1 to Serena last year here in the 2nd round. 1 and 1 to Clijsters in Miami last year. 1-6 6-2 6-2 to Sophie Ferguson in Paris at the French Open! Also, between her Wimbledon semifinal and her USO 3rd round, she did not win a match. Yes, she lost five first-round matches in a row. 2010 was actually a really mediocre year for her aside from her one big result at Wimbledon.

What? They divorced? That's it, I no longer believe in love.
Dolgopolov is again coming on. I think he has Soderling beaten now.

Oh well, it's a new dawn for Petra. They keep saying how she's gotten more fit recently, so maybe she's like Capriati, who ended one season fat but came back for the next one very fit, and won the AO and RG! Dolgo looking so strong right now, and Hot Toddy somewhat discomposed.

Weird that I was rooting for Hot Toddy to start but now I don't care because I like this kid's game and his guts. If he's even a kid!

4-1. Robin seems totally frustrated. He's won before from 1-4 down in the fifth but he seems out of it. But if he can at all hang on he might get lucky. Alexandr is inconsistent.

Todd needs to hit harder! Oleksandr can run down too much for 90% Todd. We need Total Todd! But it's too late, I'm sure.

Soderling's unforced error count is nearing 50. His differential is about -17.
Another funny thing about Petra is her rivalry with Kanepi. Oh, double fault from Soderling. Good start to this game. WOW. Big-time running forehand from Dolgopolov.
Anyway, Petra-Kaia. Petra leads 3-2 having won the last three. But every match has been three sets and most agonizingly so. The scores are as follows: 3-6 7-5 7-5; 6-3 3-6 6-1; 1-6 6-3 7-6; 4-6 7-6 8-6; 7-5 6-7 6-2.
