Good luck to NaNa and IE.
I guess I'll barrack for Vesely in the boys' final, under the uninformed assumption that Saville is as obnoxious as the other Aussie juniors.
Neutral for the girls.

Do we think that Na has a chance?
I approve of night matches that mean I won't have to stay up/wake up at an ungodly time...

I give Na a 20% chance. She's obv going to be really nervous and Ste Kim is going to fancy her chances here.

Na has No chance. She was freaked out in the semi already and she's got way too much pressure on her. Beating Kim twice in finals in 3 weeks and becoming the first Chinese player to win a grand slam would be nothing short of miraculous. I hope the loss will be less like Safina and Bepa and a bit more like Bartoli Wimbly 07.

Na, please. As much as I am okay with Kim, if she wins here she'll only be 1 Slam behind Tina. This can not happen.

You have to know that Kim is likely to at least tie Hingis before this year up.
I doubt I'll get up for this. I also had no plans on being up for the abomination that was Murray-Ferrer, so we'll see. I will definitely be up for the men's final.

Kim's said 2011 will "probably" be her last year, and she's not winning RG or Wimbledon so there's a slim chance there. Eh. Hopefully, the final won't completely blow.

Lee Na played very well in that Sydney F and struggled to win. I really don't like her chances. Kim can run down too many of her shots, and Na could freak out too easily. Maybe 20%, mostly on the hopes Kim has an error-filled match.

I'm just hoping for a good match. The women have had an okay tournament so far but they need a decent final to cement it. Also, remember that only one women's GS final in the past four years have gone to three sets. We need some competition in the finals!
Li Na will probably be nervous but she showed some guts to rally against Wozniacki. It took some nerve to hit that forehand down the line over the high part of the net on matchpoint. I think if she is to have a chance she must have a good start. I don't think she can get away with a slow start in this match.
On Kim's end, I expect her to come out much the same way she played against Vera. She'll reign in the forehand and focus on driving the ball to the corners right and left, right and left, and see if Li can hurt her. If she can't, Kim will probably continue with the side-to-side consistent hitting all the way through. If she does, I expect Kim to hit the forehand a bit harder and increase the offense.
I don't really care who wins - I just want to see an actual contest.

It's funny how St. Kim has matches where she can't put ANY ball into court, and then matches where she literally does not miss anything.
Anyway. Li breaks back. I wonder if we'll get a scoreLiNa!

FUCKING YES. Amazing what a difference it makes when the first-time Slam finalist is NOT A RUSSIAN. Clijsters' sweat patches make it look like she's lactating

Na wins the first 6-3, but now from 40-15 to deuce. Kim needs to make this more competitive. I agree with Sjengster2 - we need a three-set, competitive final.

I'm watching, too. I stayed up to learn Russian and put this on in the background. This isn't bad at all, for the parts I've paid attention to so far.
