Meanwhile, out in the boonies, Lucic is leading Cibulkova.

Hope Lucic can do something here!

Great stats for her so far, Ali! 13 W to 4 UE, first set in 28 minutes. But I expect Domi to wake up now and make a fight of it.

Can't find any coverage of Lucic-Domi. Probably for the best.

I am still quite gutted about the end of the Krumm match

Laughing at Mathilde Johansson's ineptitude is cheering me up slightly though!

Can't find any coverage of Lucic-Domi. Probably for the best. No, there's nothing for Court 15. Would have been fun to watch set 1, but Mirjana's down 3-5 in set 2, and I'd rather not see why.

I just got caught up in the match like I did in those days before I became a jaded cynic!
Also I love Krumm quite a lot more than I love the usual wimps of Women's Tennis.

I love her too, but unfortunately she knows the playbook as well as any modern player does.

Begu plays like a boring clay court pusher. I am disappoint.
It's weird seeing Mattek seeded. It's sad how she dresses like a chubby hooker begging for attention. And she's about to lose to Doi. Gogogo.

Doi is wearing a weird shirt that looks like a towel on one side. Now I don't know who to cheer for.

Nice try Krummy! That scoreline is almost as good as a win.

Vee's tit curtains are going to become rampant on tour, I just know it.
Just like Martina's super powers by having less fabric on your serving shoulder.

Watson has picked up a right arm injury that pretty much means she can't hit a serve or FH properly. Johansson has responded by falling behind 0-2 in the decider

Unaccountably, Cibulkova holds, now breaks, and will serve for the match again at 76

And then there were three: Dokic, then Date, then Lucic unable to shut the door. Sometimes this sport is so enervating!

Watson just played an amazing game to draw level at 4-4 despite her arm. Half-volleyed clean BH DTL winner from the baseline Johansson responded by committing a UE on a moonball.

Stan the Man down 2 sets to Bolelli.
Brin Yi is right - the scoreline alone is satisfying regarding the Venus match.
MJMS rolled onwards 3 and 0 over Niculescu. Very good. Now beat Venus?
Hmm ... the matches right now are a little boring, aren't they?

Ahhh, Marino-Vinci begins, right as I was about to be bored.
Nadal seems tough. That serve is built for this court.
