Chelala remaining a useless player for the 100th straight year.

Noisy Aussie fanz - ugh.
I don't know why, but I kind of wish Marino wasn't rubbish.

M. Raonic about to win his opener with some ease. Look out, Andy. Or Haase. Marino isn't rubbish. She's just not as good at things that aren't serving. So with that in mind, you can see why Arn is not the easiest player for her to beat. Arn's serve is also her best weapon. Canadian Woz has fared better, however. Next plays Kirilenko. Might she win that one? It's worth noting that we have had only one three-set match today on the women's side. I'd say one of the worst things about the WTA is how many matches end in straights no matter who is the winner. I have no numbers or evidence but it does seem to me that more three-setters were played years ago when the players were good.

This is an upset alert for Bepa vs. Pusheru. Windy day, she hates wind and is mishitting lots of balls. While Alex is content with her usual looping of tons of FHs until she gets the perfect BH opportunity.

I feel like Vera should scrape through, but if I switch away to Sammy or Andy, she might start blowing.

Tipsarevic prevailed in a mammoth second set against Tursunov, 14-12 in the breaker. I thnik Dmitri was up a break earlier in the set too.
Cirstea may upset Stosur. She has won the opening set.
Zvonareva did edge the first set in a tiebreak ...
Murray has lost set one but he played a bit better at the end. I think he'll rally.

Cirstea is playing really well. Bug serving, good hitting, looks like whatever held her back the last year or so may be gone. Which I don't mind, she's like a tolerable BAG then.

Jumbo shrimp?
And Stosur is gone. This board is probably pleased.

Funny, she reminded me of BAG a little too, mostly in the fist pumping.

I thought we were playing the oxymoron game.

Hurley, that was good.
I'm sorry to see Sam go. There's nobody else I liked better in that section. Now it will probably be WTFBBQ.
There's a small chance of this becoming Upset Tuesday.

Petrova was Sam's first seed, so yeah.
But, we're setup for a Petra-CAKE QF which would be dandy.

But now it will be U-Rad against Wozniak.
Dubois is main draw material?
Krajicek is on the verge of winning a Slam match?
Is Vera going to close that f'ing match out? Personally, I hope not. Why not just burn this top ten thing totally and flame out in round one?

Ivanovic looking sharp in this exhibition with LDL. Of course LDL makes everyone look good.

I don't know how - but LDL vs BAG is somewhat competitive in the second - 3-3

Ivanovic is hilarious. Fistpumping and ajdeing while killing off LDLs moonballs.

Lulz at Stosur. I think everyone knew she was exiting early, the question was whether she'd be bad enough to lose to Discount BAG, and the answer was a resounding yes. Jay-Z run! Jay-Z run! Bepa should have just saved us the bother of the next couple of rounds and lost to Dulgheru. Why is Dubois winning Slam matches in 2012 or any year for that matter. 100 points never ceases to boggle my mind. Baltacha's 400 points for beating sub-top 100 opposition in last year's Slams are nearly as much as a Premier title. Thank god Sweta got it together sufficiently to prevent another bullshit Jeepers run. So many bagels on the men's side! I note that Ernie's Slam uselessness continues. Five sets for Simon over Udomchoke

I'd rather Zvonareva lost instead of Stosur, but what to do.
I can't believe Troicka is going to win from 0-2 down. In unrelated news, he keeps dating sluts. There must be something wrong with him.
Is Ree even going to play today?

Stosur! What a shame. At least the Aussies still have Dokic. Some fun results to wake up to! Jamie Hampton beat LUX 1 & 1! Llodra won. Dubois! I guess Serena will play now?

Serena kept grimacing and gesturing with disgust during her 6-3, 6-2 win over Tits Paszek, according to reports. She wasn't happy with her level of play.

Stosur. Hewitt. Chak. Giiiisela. ! S.Giraldo! J.Hampton! S.Stephens! Quackworth! Souza. La Razz. Too bad that C.Rochus has retired, we could have called him Jumbo Shrimp.

Serena is going to beat all my favorite players. 1R: Tits 2R: BZS 3R: possibly THE GREAT ARN 4R: Bepa but probably KKK Then some sort of respite in the QF before ending Kvitova's career or something.
