Is she being a giant asshole too, as per usual? Actually, no, that was kinda disappointing. She had her sour face on, but no theatrics. She played two fantastic points to start off the 2nd set, so I wanted to compliment her for keeping her composure, but now she's started missing again.

I'd only just decide she was favourite for the title.

Here she comes roaring back. Well, screaming back.

It's weird how the momentum shifted all of a sudden. It doesn't feel like it's 3-0 for Azza at all, but there you have it. Radwanska has been retrieving to much and so successfully in this match, but if she lets up just a tiny bit, that's it for her. And that's what's been happening so far in this set.

Probably better in the long run. I'd rather Azza be in the final than either of the two chicks in the top SF, and she's more likely to stop them than A-Rad is.

It would be pretty cool if Beeper and Sweater won DNOC.

Kim starts off by bossing Woz but errors and she's down two bp now.

Broken at 6-3 5-3.
Fortunately I'm pretty sure she'll break for the match here.

I happily slept through all matches. As soon as I read yesterday that Kim practiced only at 70%, but heroically will play with with on her swollen ankle (!!), I was very calm about the result. It's the St. Kim we all know and.. well. Vika actually became a lot better in terms of antics lately. She manages to regroup herself even after failings, so that's a nice sign. So Vika, I'll be rooting for you in that Slam SF like never before, you actually beat St. Kim previously so you have no excuse!!

So: A title secures any of Petra/Vika/Ma$ha No 1. If Petra wins her QF but Kim wins the title, Petra is No 1. If Petra loses her QF, Vika is No 1, unless Ma$ha makes the final, in which case she's No 1. Sooooooo we just need Petra not to lose to Unforced Errani and then normal things can happen to the ranking

Meanwhile that was scary good from Fed.
I haven't seen Rafa play at all yet, I assume he's in form despite the moaning and whining?

That Fed vs JMDP match was such a letdown.
The good thing is that JesusFed usually has an off-day after hitting his GOAT form.

Rafa's whining about...everything, but especially the ranking system, means that I am not gonna be rooting for him again any time soon. I mean against the rest of the Big Four, I'm not sufficiently annoyed that I'll start rooting for Berdprych.

Learned too late that you don't need to discuss everything with the press and take the fall for everyone else in the Top 10 who is also for the stupid change in the ranking system (with the exception of Fed). I'm glad he did, I was getting tired of it too. And they're making me side with Federer on this one, and it's disappointing that he's the only one against.

If he really just learned that this year, Lady, that would be pretty obtuse of him considering he's been on Tour for about a decade. It's more likely that he A) became frustrated at a bad time or B) thought he might pressure Federer by bringing things into the public eye.

As for the women's results ... eh, good for Kim. She lost easily to Azarenka in Miami last year, right? I wonder if Victoria can do it this time as well. I picked her for this title ...
