Delpo saves one SP, still faces another ... who'd've thought? But he saves that one, too, with a bug serve.

If Oudin played Falconi, which would you prefer to win? Falconi is objectively more annoying but Oudin annoys me more, if that makes sense?

This Serena Zhang is pretty good, but Kerber always has tough 1r matches, so I'm not worried yet.

Oudin and Falconi taking advantage of really good draws. I mean...Gallovits is a worse player than Falconi. Why shouldn't she have won? It's hilarious.
And if Real World #8 Errani goes down and we set up Oudin-Dellacqua on clay...no reason Melanie can't win that either.

So the deal ESPN has with Tennis Channel is that ESPN3 is allowed to have all-day coverage -- but of Court 1 ONLY. Since I'm not going to bother getting TTC for just 1 month, I guess I'll be watching a lot of foreign streams the next 2 weeks.

My French stream, surk.tv, has glamorous Golovin AND short-haired J. Henin as analysts. Not as match commentators; they're sitting at a desk and the camera goes to them between sets for their comments.
Too bad I can understand only a very little of the match commentary and virtually none of the Golovin & Henin remarks. But the picture is good, even looking not-bad when sent by cable to my big tv; there is no freezing, no busting up like ESPN3 was doing earlier today, so I'm really happy w/ this feed.

LOL Rod Dick got broken a bunch by Mahut. Serious TTR contemplation after he loses early at Wimbly also. He's in TTR denial, Leena. The writing has been on the wall for some time! It just cannot be said enough - Lucic is horrendous. Just the worst player. I will say that I thought Stosur was in a bit of trouble there in the first set. If Baltacha had managed to level things at 5, it might have been a new match. She was starting to hit some shots. But speaking of that match, was that Chris Evert who kept extolling the virtues of Stosur's backhand? She seems convinced the forehand is the weaker side!!! That said, she did make one point I hadn't really thought about. Sam will dictate with the forehand when it's in the center of the court or just into the backhand side. Her running forehand is less threatening, though. It's probably a good play to roll shots out that way and look for the one to drive to the backhand. Oudin's figure is ... spreading out wider? How old is she? 20? And she already has that gut? Ormaechea seems like a decent player. That's the first I had seen of her.

Pfeizenmaier won. How old is she? We need a pic!
Oudin has actually LOST weight in the past couple of months. She had become quite pudgy, sad to say. So the way she looks now is actually a positive sign for her, believe it or not. I'm sure she'll keep working on that.
