Oops! Looks like I tuned in too late. Brian doesn't want to miss the party on the plane after all. It's his first-ever 5-setter, apparently. Not so nice, all those hours battling on the dirt.

Nice effort by Baker. He needs a better backhand and movement will always be a problem, but I hope he can be a top 50 guy.

I also do not like Cake. She's a nasty bitch. Her only positive is SEWTA disparaging.

I arrived just in time for the last game in Martic/Bartoli and I think I saw Martic for the 1st time, but it was more then enough time for me to start rooting madly for other other Petra, cause Bartoli was so obnoxious, it was hard to watch. Apparently she's been like that for most of the match. I was more then happy to see Martic being so calm and finishing her off.

I hope Venus isn't expecting to win the Olympics or anything with how bad her footwork is. Of course, she'll end up being superhuman again at Wimbledon now.

This is awful to watch. Venus doesn't even set herself for the simplest balls. Should be TTR, but she can still beat a lot of girls just with her 1st serve and power occasionally landing in.

It is sad since most other players in the draw would have made A-Rad work a bit harder than that. Venus, you suck!

I hope Venus isn't expecting to win the Olympics or anything with how bad her footwork is. Something tells me Serena kept Venus up all night with unbounded caterwauling. As for the Olympics, I didn't pay attention the year ED won, but when Henin won she had to play like 5 or 6 days in a row. Can't imagine Venus managing that with her health situation, even if on grass the matches would be over more quickly. Unless the weather turns really, really hot, Wimbledon will be much easier for her than the Olympics thanks to those luxurious days off between matches. Unless Serena loses early and won't allow Venus to get any sleep again.

I hope Venus isn't expecting to win the Olympics or anything with how bad her footwork is. Something tells me Serena kept Venus up all night with unbounded caterwauling. - I am VERY UPSET about Zheng losing. The year started out so well, too. - I wish, for the 9820302023th time, that Venus and Serena could swap results. I mean, I wanted A-Rad to win, but that just sounded sad. - Fuck my fucking life and office job at the moment, I wanted to put money on Martic d. Cake but didn't have fucking time. - Heh, if Stephens snatches the US Olympic spot away from King and Lepchenko at the last minute. She plays Johansson next so, bar gagging or a Lepchenko run, that will happen
