I am so glad I turned off the Fit But Mentally Girly Dave Show. Though the writing was on the wall as soon as the announcers made it sound like Dave had won the match after the first set.  Lady Luck doesn't like that sort of cockiness! |

It was a fun old-fashioned kind of tennis to watch. And at least I can be happy for Ali. So those were the two positive elements about it for me. No need to go into the negative elements about it, I'm sure. ;D

Would be nice if Mattek-Sands and Mirza could make the sisters work at least a little bit harder in their 2nd match of the day. Kirilenko/Petrova dragged it out to 7-9 in the 3rd. I wonder if Venus is feeling good today or if Serena is doing most of the work?
