Ha, U-Rad lost by the same score by which A-Rad won. Fat Dave gave JMDP a walkover. There's a LL though, right? This King/Shvedova match is so awkward. Neither displaying any emotion at all, no fistpumps or c'mons, they're turning away from the court as soon as points finish. Like they're trying to pretend it's not happening.

Shvedova failed to serve out the set but broke for it on a King DF.
Actually, despite that there's actually been some decent shotmaking in this match, it's not like that MJF/Leach mess from the '90s.

Peer is done, right? She got straight-setted by LAV (LAV's first Tour-level win since her Bogota title, incidentally).
Barthel ended up choking what sounded like a quintessential SEWTA match to BoJo.

Wait, BoJo won that?! The last time I paid attention she was losing 1-5 in the first set or something.

She played well earlier, but this is an unfortunate match-up for her really. Just spraying errors now.
Pironkova beat Giorgi. I actually can't remember the last time Tsveti lost a Slam 1R match.

The White Mug's gag from 6-2 to 6-6 in that TB was UGLY. Luckily Errani gave her another chance, which she took. She hits seriously big and she can VOLLEY WELL!

So Irina Falconi joins Donny Young in the Big Fall. So sad for flag-lovers everywhere! Donny, however, made up for his loss with a big win in doubles today over 7th seeds Llodra-Zim.

It would be delightful as she has 900 points to defend.
Woz so far: 4 W 17 UE
Her picture on the US Open website looks like a mix between a 40-year-old Hingis and Barbara Schett.

oh my God. I am so glad I'm not watching this. But it's better for this dim-witted kid to hit bottom by losing to a Begu in the first round of the Slam she's done best at so she might finally be forced to realize that her game is basically nada.
