Also the first time I've really watched Sloane. Her BH is weird. I also didn't know she's the football player's kid, so I have to like her.

Shitra played well at the end of the match. Seemed happy and confident in the post-match on-court interview. Won't last. She actually looked happy and confident in her post-match interviews last year as well, so this will last. The denial in strong in this one. That's what concerns me. Woz won, blergh. Haven't see a single match yet, but my vacation should start in a few days so maybe then. Maybe Monfils vs Dolgo will be good.

They gave all the forehands to Cirstea. So she hits them miles long and the rest have none to hit. The denial in strong in this one. That's what concerns me. Too true. Very annoying. She's lucky that Fran is on a faster and more terminal downward slope than she is. How many games does she win off Robson now. Really good results all round to wake up to. Wins for Berankis, Hsieh, and a bunch of SEWTA children - Putintseva, Gavrilova, Beck, Muguruza (14-12 in the third), Mladenovic (11-9 in the third) and Vekic (very decisive over Hlavackova, 1 and 2). I'm happy with Akgul winning too (she needed points to stay in the top 200, and who cares about Johansson). Up middle finger to Oudin and Davis, as ever. When I went to bed Rhyne Williams had won the first two sets off Funky Flo. Wake up, final score 2-6 3-6 6-2 7-6(12) 6-1 to Flo. 1) v happy, 2) THAT 4TH SET TB LOOKS INSANE. Bellucci flopping to Kavcic might be the only I really feel but even then we get a SLOperstar through for Boreas. Kumkhum is on serve vs. Arvidsson, 5-6. I WANT TO SEE THIS goddamnit.

Comical stuff from Monfils attempting to serve for the match. First point, he's at net and Dolgopolov has a sitter, so Monfils...IMPERSONATES A PLANE Dolgo drills him, deservedly. He's broken to love, finishing with a DF. Dolgo obv gets broken in the next game, GSM.

Well I missed a lot of this match by actually working. I just don't get why people complain so much about Monfils playing stupidly. It's Monfils, it's what he does. I just except him for what he is. He'll never win anything big, but a lot of his matches are fun. I mean, impersonating a plane - that's awesome!
