Woz won that? I didn't expect that. Maybe she's returning to her no-error era.

A straight-sets match for Kvitova Hahahahahaha Woz lost to the New Halep. Which probably means Petra will as well.

Maybe Kvitty's warming up to North America at last. She sure has been trying hard this week. I have a lot of respect for the way she's been battling and battling in this pre-Slam week. New Haven's so lucky to have her there; she's going against the tide of elite players turning up their noses at those events, or tanking early if they do need to go just to get some match play in.

Only watching in background but
a) still haven't worked out what makes Nu-Halep such a force - obv can't argue with results, she's on her way to her first Premier title here b) Shitra making me wince on every important point

Wow. What a year for Halep! Who'd ever have imagined this. Rest up, Petra!

Halep is exactly the type of player we should all hate, but she seems sweet and she doesn't have obnoxious fans, so we all love her. Yay!

Janie compared Halep to Kerber based on results last week and I think that's apt - from what I saw she'd really fuelled by confidence. Knows what shot to go for and makes it regardless of the actual game she has.
