Fluffy might be done this time around.
She has taught us so much, it will not be the same without AMG in the top 100.

Cirstea righted the ship and dealt out a breadstick in the final set. Oh well Canada. Okay, thanks. Kind of glad Cirstea didn't blow that. Meanwhile: WHO THE HECK IS DAN EVANS??

Horrible performance by Keys, spraying errors all over the place. It really did look like it's Stevenson playing out there.

I can only watch it if I use a Proxy. I might feel like that later in the week, but not on Day One. I guess I will go reapply for healthcare instead of watching tennis. Oh well! Good to know about the stream, though. When I'm at my dads tomorrow and using my own computer I might watch via proxy. If you use Firefox or Chrome, there's a fantastic AddOn "MediaHint" (I don't remember if you have to download it yourself or if it's available in the AddOns section), but it allows us, non-US people, to watch US-region sites. I'm not sure if it works for USOpen.org, but it does work for Hulu and Netflix.

I was at carnival yesterday, it doesn't feel like I missed much. Rybarikova's exit is the only surprise on the SEWTA side (seriously WTF happened there though). Gulbis flopping is actually a major shock to me, for all his craziness he hasn't really had any WTF losses this year...until now. Maybe he looked at his open draw, I don't think Ernie deals well with Slam pressure. Very disappointing from Kei as well. Fichman is an awful player and obnoxious brat, I'm surprised Janie likes her. I'd usually be all for a Cirstea R1 flop but glad she came through that one. LMAO @ "peaking for the Slams" Stephens getting taken to a 3rd set TB by MINELLA. I'd now be quite surprised if she got through U-Rad let alone Hampton. I didn't expect CSN to double bagel Davis! Excellent! Do the same to Vandeweghe next! Keys withdrew from Toronto injured, not really surprised JaJa routined her. Really happy for Kleybanova even if it came at Puig's expense. Ew, inflated points on a plate for Barty At least none of those for Rogers. Good R1 win for Schmiedlova Ugh, Andrey Kuznetsov losing to Sela

It's not that I like Fichman so much, though I didn't knew she's a brat; it's just that I'm happy for every long-term Hidden Worlder who finally gets to experience a Slam MD. It's fine with me if she never does it again. So Kleybanova finally won! Now that's a result I'm thrilled about. Sorry Puig had to be the victim, but like Flipkens, she just happened to be in the wrong part of the draw so I had to root for their opponents.

Gulbis flopping is actually a major shock to me, for all his craziness he hasn't really had any WTF losses this year...until now. Maybe he looked at his open draw, I don't think Ernie deals well with Slam pressure. Gulbis admitted in his press conference that the pressure of being seeded and looking further ahead into the draw got the better of him on Monday.
“I felt really, really good, really confident, everything was really great. Physically I felt great. When I came into the match, maybe I got over nervous. Because today in the morning, I woke up and I felt tight. I felt nervous in the warm-up and in the morning I felt tight, couldn’t relax. And when you’re so tight you lose a lot of energy on court. So after two sets I was already exhausted. I was sweating more than usual, everything was — I just tight, I was uptight.” “Maybe that I really felt that this tournament I could do well. I saw the draw, I liked at the draw, and I could go far. I didn’t put on myself pressure, nobody put on me pressure.”
"I was seeded for the first time here, so I wanted to see how the draw looks with my name in bigger letters. Honestly I’ve played top tennis. It’s just I need to play top tennis in matches. In practice it’s really I play, everything is going my way. I couldn’t prepare better. Honestly, I have no idea what — I have an idea of what happened but I need to find some solutions on how to deal with it, because it’s not good.”

LOL @ Davis and Stephens.
Gooooo Rafa. Glad he's cruising though an easy win over Harrison doesn't mean anything.
