Well, Azza held again. By all rights, she should break and hold to close this out now.

I'm in an odd position compared to everyone here. I actually don't mind them both, so I'm not even sure who I want to win. Ana is preferable, but Azza has a chance against Serena.

From 30-0 up in the last game, Ana is broken ...
The big problem with her game is belief. Ana seems so mentally fragile ...
On the other hand, Victoria can't really be so proud of this effort. It was awful. She probably will reach the final, especially considering the players remaining on her half. But ... she is not playing well.

Glad that's over! But how the heck did Azza ever beat Serena?? Maybe she's just having a bad week or maybe she just plays to the level of her opponent, as Grar said. But after this I won't be surprised if she flames out at any stage.

The thought of Azarenka finishing her career with more slams than Hingis or even Henin (which isn't beyond the realms of possibility) is an unpleasant thought.

I don't mind Ana, but I didn't want her to win this match. Because, yeah, NO WAY would she have a chance against Serena. But I'd be happy to see Ana overcome her nerves and beat Masha.corp or Serena, or Azza, in a different context.

Next up for Azza: another skinny, formerly elite(ish) player wearing the same red dress, with pretty much the same strengths and weaknesses: sometimes a good serve; good FH; weak head. And probably the crowd will be cheering loudly for the opponent again, because DH is cute, like AI. Should be money in the bank, Azza; don't blow it.

Well, this one match is not representative of her quality. It does strike me as a reputation win, though. The calibre of tennis she produced was not really better than Ana's, but both of the players on the court expected Vika to be the winner.

And Azza played an absolutely dreadful match against Jankovic the night before with something like 20 break of serve.

I don't hate hate Hewitt like Janie does. I love to hate Hewitt. So really, it's affectionate. But really, he's gross and needs to go away soon. This RUSTYRESURGENCE! is tolerable only because I know he won't win anything that matters.

It's a bit of a pity that Nalbandian actually turned out to be kind of good, otherwise we could entirely write that shit off.

Hewitt beat Youzhny in the fourth round the year that he won Wimbledon. Henman was Hewitt's best win in the draw. In conclusion, Hewitt has only actually won one slam - nobody can take that USO away from him. Unfortunately. Believe me, I've tried.
I'm done now.

Haas is also guilty of the cap thing, yes. It's just not okay. He's a man in his mid thirties, so it's even worse when he does it.
Anyway, this match is over. I'll come back in a couple hours for STAN
