I finally have a laptop that allows me to watch stuff online. Go to sportlemon.tv, there's a bunch of streams there. Thanks!

A mini-choke from Bencic there at a most inopportune time, got too passive. Kimiko hangs on, the match is quite a thriller. I still think BB will win the match, even if I was somewhat wrong about KK's exhaustion. Not used to seeing her leaning on her racket that way!

They stream a couple of courts on www.ausopen.com . It seems to be blocked in most countries though (including Australia?!), so I wonder why they bother at all. I've used a Malaysia IP address and it worked.

Konjuh looks a little like Bartoli to me.

Wow, this is not easy for Li. The latest AK is not at all intimidated out there.

Looks like Jarkko noticed he was losing to Sela and considered this unacceptable.

Been telling everyone that Kumkhum is good. That second set was more how I expected the match to go, glad she put up a good showing though.
What a humiliation for Zakopalova. Losing to Stosur, who she beat LAST WEEK, in Australia? Shameful.
Makarova always peaks for big tournaments, doesn't she? Not surprised she came back vs Venus. She's beaten both Williamses at the AO now.
How did Keys need a 9-7 final set to beat Mayr-Achleitner?
Donna Vekic's slump is worrying now. 2 and 0 sounds like a harsh lesson for Konjuh. I watched Bencic/Date-Krumm before I went to bed - fun match, expected winner.
Everyone surprised at Janowicz losing but like Robson he came in underprepared and with injury issues. He got thrashed by Dolgopolov last week.
Gulbis finally wins a Slam match when I least expect him to!

Oh, and looks like I was right about this being the year of Vinci and Errani flopping. At least the former benefits Zheng. I guess the latter will trigger a bunch of Goerges hype again

Kumkhum hit a clean dropshot return winner on Petra, who then DFed to give the break away. Kumkhum to serve for the match...

Oh dear Three deuce points - Kumkhum DFed on two of them and shanked a routine groundstroke on the other

Been a while since we saw a Thai player bow to all four corners at a Slam. A worthy successor to Tanasugarn and Srichaphan

Vickery is terrible. Utterly routine win for Davis. Another WC that was so deserved.
Also terrible: Berankis. Weird to think he was a junior stand-out. Dolgopolov was careless and lackadaisical but Berankis had nothing to hurt him with.

Wow, shocks abound this morning. KVITTY?? Good for Kumkhum, though. Glad you got to watch that, Alex! I see that the good impression Konjuh made in those first couple of games didn't hold up, to say the least. Good for Li, now go get your surgery done so you can come back soon, AK. Dudi

As soon as I saw the Petra-Kumkhum score on the AO app I could only think of rushing here to discuss it and laugh.
13 hour workday. No tennis today. But 2 public holidays this week!

Oh, God, Falconi is leading AMG. Where is Boreas? He needs to kick his friend into gear! I don't think she even has a gearbox anymore. Such a bad day for those that I like. Vinci, Errani and AMG did just slightly better than the 4 CRO women. 16 games versus 9.

I don't know about the capital letters, but yeah, Hurley has moved over to Twitter planet.

I still don't really get twitter.

Twitter's no good if you can't be there at the time of the action, interacting with other fans. A lot of us, obviously, have to miss most of the AO action due to time zones, so it's great to come here the next day and see what others may have caught and posted about.
