And yet SF QF QF at the Slams. I don't know if I'd complain, if I were you.

Hurley - don't take any of this seriously. I'm just poking fun at my own proverbial optimism.

I never take anything seriously. Which often gets me in trouble, but hey.
And IIRC, she was a probable w/d from RG, and yet she still made the final eight. So far she's been pretty good about her scheduling; I wouldn't be in the doldrums just yet.

She might still have a shot at making the YEC if it wasn't for this, though.

Nicole needs to start playing more, because the last thing I want is for Peenus and Reenus to make Madrid.
So she and aHn tooch ovah need to step it up

Nicole has begun practicing again, but she won't play before the USO.
Which BTW she's very likely to enter without the benefit of a top 16 seeding.
So by the end of the season she'll be more or less back to where she was 2 years ago.

Nicole has had very, very solid results this year. She just hasn't played enough.

Nicole has had very, very solid results this year. She just hasn't played enough. Apart from the sisters, she's the player in the top 15 with the least tournaments played. It wouldn't have made that much difference anyway. A couple more QF losses in TIIs to Kuznetsova or Petrova, nothing more. Still, she survived her 1st round at the USO, and I've now begun looking at the draw trying to figure out who will prevent the Nicole vs Maria matchup from happening. Fun!

A few more QFs would put Nicole in the top 10, though.
She can really lose to anyone... mono is difficult to come back from, and fatigue can ensue at any time.

She was striking the ball quite well today in her 1r match. She should be able to live up to her seeding here.

A few more QFs would put Nicole in the top 10, though. Or even the YEC. Funny how a season in which she reached QF or better at all the Slams so far will still have to be considered as a missed opportunity overall. As for the mono, it didn't seem to be that bad. Nowhere near as bad as Ancic's at least.

Nikki blamed her choking away the TB against Peer to her lack of practice time coming into the USO. Certifiedly stagnated as a player, but making great strides forward as an excuse maker. If I'm not mistaken, schedule now is Stuttgart Moscow Linz hopefully with more QFs to choke away!

Currently #6 on the race. I thought she'd be much lower for some reason.

But now she's #21. And with a horrid draw for Miami.
I never expected her to actually win anything, but soon her endlessly entertaining self-destruction sessions will be on TV as often as Srebotnik.

Lots of Nicole pics for Corswandt -- if you can tolerate the many Nick B. pics aomng them! Even more pics of Michelle Larcher de Screamo. Including her collapse to her knees following her first-round win. There are a even couple of Coco pics, as well, since she played Lisicki: www.flickr.com/photos/24981834@N04/sets/72157604264331222Don't know why that didn't form a link, but it works if copied/pasted.

Unsourced news:
Kodat hasn't been Nicole's coach since before Miami. Nicole will choose a new coach over the next few days.

New coach is one "David Felgate", who used to work for the LTA.

I just want to comment that Nikki is a total babe with the weight she's put on.
The horseface will always be a hindrance, but she's great.
Oh, and she sucks at tennis. Go to porn.

Oh, and she sucks at tennis. She does, she does. It amazes me to no end that someone with footwork such as hers made it to the top 10. To star in those idiotic films RTP2 described as "transgressores" in the promos. All about as arousing as a Monday football debate on TV.
