Now that he has lost 1R at Hamburg, it looks like Gasquet will be unseeded at RG.

No Roland Garros for Davenport Eurosport - 16/05/2006 Former world number one Lindsay Davenport has pulled out of the French Open with a back injury, organisers said on Tuesday. "I'm very disappointed ... but unfortunately, following my back injury, I haven't recovered all my physical strength," the 29-year-old American said in a statement. A semi-finalist at the French Open in 1998, Davenport has been suffering from lower back strain since she lost the Wimbledon final to Venus Williams last season. She is ranked seventh in the world. In other news from Roland Garros, organisers have announced Wild Cards: The French have the priority except for one; who will be Australian, as part of an agreement with the Australian Federation. The lucky winners for the men include: Thierry Ascione, Jeremy Chardy, Mathieu Montcourt , Marc Gicquel and Michael Llodra. Meanwhile the lucky winners for the women include: Alize Cornet, Mathilde Johansson, Severine Bremond, Stephanie Cohen-Aloro, Pauline Parmentier and Aurelie Vedy. The remaining players will be announced next week.

Molik wins French Open wildcard May 22, 2006
ALICIA Molik's comeback received a boost overnight when she won a main draw wildcard entry to the French Open starting next week.
The former world No.8 beat 20-year-old Sophie Ferguson 6-7 7-6 6-2 in the final of the mini-tournament at Roland Garros for Australian women battling for Tennis Australia's wildcard.
The French Open will be only Molik's second tournament since recovering from a bout of vestibular neuronitis which put her out of the game for over a year.
Now ranked No.495, she lost to countrywoman Casey Dellacqua in the first round of her comeback tournament in Japan earlier this month.
Molik, 25, does not have much history of success to draw on at Roland Garros.
She reached the third round at her first attempt in 1999 but has lost in the first round for five straight years. Ill health kept her away last year.
Molik joins Nathan Healey as a wildcard play-off winner in the Roland Garros draw.
Healey defeated Wayne Arthurs 6-4 6-4 6-4 in the Australian men's event on Saturday.
Tennis Australia gets two main draw wildcard entries to the French Open in a reciprocal agreement with the French tennis federation, which gets two for the Australian Open.

CORIA OUT WITH ELBOW PROBLEM
Argentina's Guillermo Coria will miss this summer's French Open and Wimbledon in order to rest an elbow injury.
The 24-year-old, runner-up at Roland Garros in 2004, has endured a dismal campaign in 2006 and will sit out the next two Grand Slams to overcome the tendonitis which has plagued the elbow joint in recent months.
Coria is currently 21st in the world rankings, his lowest position since 2003, and has been eliminated in the first round of three consecutive tournaments - Munich, Rome and Hamburg.

Apparently Clément (pulled a hammy playing "foot") and Pierce (adductors) are questionable and will decide in the next few days whether to play. Mary sounds more optimistic than Naud.
