"covers are off - play should resume soon" (though you'd never know it in the US; we still have Agassi match tape on ESPN2)

They're playing! So, will NBC show us LIVE tennis, or start a tape from the start of Fed's match?

"covers are off - play should resume soon" (though you'd never know it in the US; we still have Agassi match tape on ESPN2) Yes, and it seems like they will resume shortly. The matches have been put back on the scoreboard. However, the forecast still looks quite ominous.

More rain. I'm getting Centre Court coverage on one channel and Court One coverage on another channel, live, so I don't miss any matches. The coverage in the US sounds awful, or so it seems from Janie's..err...I mean, Eleanor Rigby's posts.

Also, it should be noted that if Sexxpanek wins this match, he'll be very close to the Top 5. With virtually nothing to defend until after the US Open, and his hot indoor season.
Booya.
