I love these things!
But please, Ancic at 40/1? And Murray over Davydenko? Nikolay's way too low - they never give him enough credit. He's the #3 or #4 player player in Grand Slams.
Also, they must really think a lot of Szavay to give her 33/1 ahead of Golovin, Dementieva, and friends.

Ancic showed good form this fall, but that is too high.
I'll put something on Serena at 8/1 right now.

Also, they must really think a lot of Szavay to give her 33/1 ahead of Golovin, Dementieva, and friends. One way to think of the Murray vs Davydenko discrepency is to focus on what the odds are set for, winning the whole thing, which Dacydenko has demonstrated he'll never do. What he will do is make the quarters or semis, if fit and not bothered by media hounding etc...While Andy could beat top guys, or at least, he hasn't yet demonstarted that when totally fit, he can't. On the other hand he is also apt to go out very early, if he pulls a tough match, and has an off day. If the odds were for who makes the quarters, I bet Davy and Murray would be nexk and neck with Davy perhaps in front...

That has nothing to do with it... Mopey is more popular due to stupid reasons.
Andy isn't exactly hot stuff vs. the top guys either. He has the one win over Roger, of course, when Roger played the worst I've ever seen him play. Other than that, he's gotten trounced by the Top 3.
Unless, we still want to consider Roddick a serious threat at a slam. Lollers.

Yeah it's more about where the betmakers think people will be putting their money. Attention getters always get better odds than they're worth.

Nobody commented where Ferrer is in that list. I thought that was a little strange too.

A little surprising he's ahead of Roddick, but even degenerate betters had to realize Dave's end to the year. Also that he owns Roddick.
