Gonzalez out, Karlovic in! He only needs to reach the final!
I'm very interested how Fat Dave does. I'm fearing massive disappointment.

Poor Gnome. Ivo Isner should be made to order for him but then he gets Roj. Poor Frank will lose to Jarkko again. Guccione has a draw he might do something with , and Fat Dave's health should improve when he sees his draw. Wussquet will have to work hard to screw up his draw. Querrey-Oli. Handshake pic! Hmm... Thomas Johansson SWE v Marcos Baghdatis CYP (15) Nicolas Kiefer GER v Juan Carlos Ferrero ESP (22) Radek Stepanek CZE (30) v Vincent Spadea USA Jo-Wilfried Tsonga FRA v Andy Murray GBR (9)

Possible 2R unseeded battle between Safin and ToJo. I remember when that was a final. Maybe they can recreate those stunning glory days for us this year.

Ivo has the best draw possible. Q 1st round. Seeds are tanking Youzhny and Kolya. So, he'll lose to a short guy in 1R.

Fuck, Misha got Davydenko. Nadal or Djokovic would have been better for him. 2nd quarter is soooo strong - Ferrero will lose first round to Kiefer or beat them all.

Murray might be a good bet as the bottom half finalist. Sadly, I can't see Dickhead losing until the QF at least

I'd be proclaiming Mopey as a finalist if he didn't suck against Gasquet and Kolya. And Youzhny also has the strong backcourt game he struggles most against.

Inane draw thoughts: I want Isner to lose. Roger-Gnome makes for good watching. We won't get to see the midget much longer. Otherwise, Roger got another easy draw in a slam... assuming Berdych doesn't have 1 of his 3 good days per year. And let's hope Guccione doesn't make a run... anyone could advance in that Gorila-Blake section, it's filled with even more mercurial players like Melzer, Fathead, Ljubicic. We're going to be seeing lots o' tennis from the Djokovic has-been section, which already has me tired. The Dave's can't avoid each other. Please show up ready to go here, Fatty. Some sleepers like Kiefer and Stepanek there, but I'd surprised if either goes down early. Kolya didn't draw Roddick again in a slam, so SF time! Woo! I'd be high on Murray here, but he drew terrible matchups. Nadal, Andrew... bleh. Not much fun in the bottom quarter. Andrew-Donnster 2R... UGH.

Inane draw thoughts: We won't get to see the midget much longer. Haven't we been saying this for years? I know that eventually it will come to be true and all... but I'm almost convinced that Fabrice is ageless.

"For me, the one to watch is Naldandian. What he did at Bercy last year was incredible. He has to win his early matches without wasting too much energy, because he doesn't have the best physique in the tournament. If so, he will be really dangerous. Especially since he is the one Federer fears the most." -- A. Di Pasquale

AUSTRALIAN Open officials have wasted little time in a crackdown on player behaviour at Melbourne Park. With the second round yet to finish, 12 players have been charged and fined. Vince Spadea and Arnaud Clement were both fined $560 for audible obscenities. Nicolas Almagro, Juan Ignacio Chela and Boris Pashanski were docked the same amount for racquet abuse. And 2002 champion Thomas Johansson was penalised $560 for unsportsmanlike behaviour following his first-round defeat to Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis. Hugo Armando, Alexandre Kudrayavtsev and Bjorn Rehnqvist were fined $280 for audible obscenities. Gilles Muller, Philipp Petzchner and New South Welshman Nathan Healey were hit with the same fine for racquet abuse.

Yet, Murray and Roddick scream obscenities every match, and that's just dandy.

Only the nobodies are getting the fines. Fuck officials, they're pussies and dicks.
