"3-4 - Superb smash from Roddick levels the game at 15-15. Where does he get his energy from? Kohlschreiber has still got something in his locker too though, and he takes the game with another winning backhand."

4-5 - And Kohlschreiber unsuccessfully argues that Roddick's shot is out. A-Rod isn't impressed. Deuce again. Another Roddick double-fault! And another Roddick ace! The fastest serve of the tournament at 147 miles-per-hour. Incredible stuff. Deuce. And then an amazing winner from Kohlschreiber! Match point number three. And another ace! Madness. Deuce. Roddick into the net! Match point number four...

"And - unbelievably - another Roddick ace saves the match point. Deuce once more. Roddick ace (that's number 40). And a long backhand from Kohlschreiber gives Roddick the game. What an escape!"
5-5
Hang in there Chatty!

What does this do to Andy's ranking? He had a SF last year. He's now got R2 at AO, R1 at RG, QF at W and what at the US Open? Final?

Andy hit the most aces he's ever hit in one match (42) and lost. According to Jim Courier.

What does this do to Andy's ranking? He had a SF last year. He's now got R2 at AO, R1 at RG, QF at W and what at the US Open? Final? Roddick only made the QF in the last USO. So he has really shit GS points on his ranking right now. I'm wondering how far down this loss will drop him. I can't believe I went to bed at 3-3 2nd set of Mauresmo/Dellacqua, and it easily became the most dramatic late night of the tournament! ESPN and Pat McEnroe must have cried themselves to sleep after the losses of Fish and Roddick. HOLY SHIT PHILIPP KOHLSCHREIBER!!!! Beautiful stuff. Can't believe those backhand passes! I can't wait to watch the whole tape. He was always talked about a guy with huge potential, and now he's beginning to deliver the past year. I feel less upset about him beating Youzhny twice, and also Ferrero. And omg, Amelie. This is possibly the worst loss of her career. Shows you how much more tentative she is right now in her career, and how much Casey has improved. I remember watching her get crushed like 0 and 1 or 0 and 2 by #1 seed Davenport in 2006, and she was fat and blah and didn't seem to have much potential. But damn, R16! I don't see her beating the pesky Jankovic, though. Jelena is doing at this Slam what Anastasia Myskina did at Wimbledon 2005, she's gutting through long matches and she'll take her probable QF loss with pride.

Can Nadal take down Mathieu and Kohlschreiber to make the semis? Probably, but they'll challenge.
Over 100 winners for PK, just delish. Where does "CHAT" come from as a nick?

Oh, but Andrew is still the the "real #3 or #4" or whatever.
Dellacqua in the 4R, with serious discussion of her making the QF is really really not good for women's tennis.

I don't hate him either. But the combination of Andrew's assholeness, and more so the USian media, makes it fun to watch him lose.
