Oh, Blake started. No need to bother with ESPN.

4-2 Maria. She's really in control from the baseline because Chak is so slow.

Will MK choke now, or later?

Wow, nice hold. Very interesting night so far.

It would have to be a monumental choke at this point. Which, of course, is entirely possible.

Nope, Chak's tanking it.

This may mean Petrova can get to the semis.

Congrats to Maria Kirilenko on the biggest win of her career. And beating Anna Chakvetadze the 6th seed and her hometown friend and rival who had dominated their last 3 matches has to make this such a sweet and special win for Maria. But the main thing is that Makiri has made the round of 16 of a grand slam for the first time in her career. And I think Eric Van Harpen has played a major role in Maria's success since he became her coach last summer. And for me Kirilenko's big win over Chakvetadze helps make up for Roddick and Fish's bad losses today.

This may mean Petrova can get to the semis. No way, she'll choke. Radwanska can beat her, as can Kirilenko and Hantuchova. My god, that Agni is hot shit! Beating #2 seed in conseuctive Slams. I like this girl's potential. Kuznetsova a joke #2 - I'm guessing she can lose the ranking if Jankovic or Ivanovic do well enough. But they'll both probably lose in the QF to the Williams, and it's not like Kuznetsova did better last year so no points fall off. Any ranking expert know the situation? What is wrong with australianopen.org? Only one court of action pops up on my scoreboard. And it's Sebastien up a set on Blake. ESPN2 will show that when it comes on, and hopefully Blake will lose. ;D

Why is australianopen.org only showing the top courts? I'm confuzzled. Still watching my tape of Phil from last night. Totally keeping this match forevz.

OMG, can you imagine if three American guys, including Roddick and Blake, all crash out of the Australian Open in less than 24 hours? I don't know if PMac would be able to hold back the tears. Besides Querrey, I think they're all that's left for USA.
Allez Grosji, keep this up.

6-4, 3*-0 Grosjean!!! Raise you're hand if you're loving this. if he wins this set, it's obviously over for the can-only-win-a-5-setter-versus-a-35-year-old-veteran Blake.
ESPN commentators tried to convince us that Blake starting out well in this Slam meant something. No one was fooled.

Blake down 6-4, 6-2. Looks like he has bags under his eyes. Probably was watching Roddick all night.

Yup, Leena's a high-roller. Far from it. I just put my entire account into the match because I was 100% sure Anna would suck, and I really don't want to bet anymore because it requires me following women's tennis like I used to, and that match was the perfect example of why we don't want to do that again. Well, maybe if Bovina plays again for real. Lolz.

After losing the first 2 sets against Grojsean Blake is finally showing signs of life in the third set. Maybe the Americans are suffering from the Davis Cup final letdown in Oz.

And Blake sucks like he has every slam outside of NYC.

Why are all Croatian players tall and thin and good at a young age? Except Ljubicic and a few others which I can't think of right now.
Cilic is Goran 3.
