There have been a few good umpires. Morissey (?) was the best. There are still some around, but I suck at remembering names. De Jenken is good too, at least she had the balls to make a crucial overrule, even if she was wrong by like 0.0001 mm. I don't think it was ballsy of her. I think it was a choke. She didn't know if it was in or out. But she saw Justine doing the finger thing and jumping around like a bitch and impulsively went with it, probably fearing a big argument or controversy. But then of course she got ripped by Kim Clijsters. Who knows. De Jenken doesn't appear to be easily intimdated to me. It might have influenced her. Then again, Justine saw it out, and my immediate reaction was out too. Maybe she just saw it that way and went with it. Other female umpires wouldn't even overrule if the ball was one foot long and Jimbo Connors was about to go ballistics on them.

About? LOL. I didn't say it wasn't deliberate. I insinuated it made you look stupid, which it does. You look stupid. Actually, I'm looking fabulous!

And we all know that Justine would have won anyway, and any additional titles for Kim would be wasted now. So SdJ made a wise decision!

And we all know that Justine would have won anyway, and any additional titles for Kim would be wasted now. So SdJ made a wise decision! At the time I blamed Kim. She had the whole court wide open and hit it so fucking close the line, unecessarily. If it was in, she was lucky. I still don't trust Shot Spot with some of the super close ones. I know Federer doesn't either. Netted fh! Vamos Tips!

Fat old hag Lang hasn't made single overrule yet. Might as well put a robot up there.
Yup, Kim played that shot awfully.

These challenges are producing more drama, and ticking Fed off more. DEUCE. Huge.
Tipsy's white shorts are so sweaty they're partially see-through.

WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. When's the last time he played a 5-setter in Melbourne?
It was Haas, R16 2006. He wants to play 5 now.

Back to being worried.
How can Federer lose this set. He's wasting game and set points left and right by being too passive and making dumb errors. He lets Janko dictate the rallies.
And even playing like crap (which he is) he just can't lose this set.

Another overhit forehand from Federer at Deuce. That was a big point on Janko's serve once again won by Janko.
This has got to be the best first week of a Slam on both the men's and women's sides in a while.

Yeah, try www.channelsurfing.net. I'm sure Star Sports has got it on right now, so you can launch that if you have TVU, Sopcast, or any one of those P2P players.

I don't mind at all! Since my own academic career won't amount to anything I have decided to live an entirely altruistic life by helping others succeed wherever I can.

How does it work, is it still the people from the day session? What are the people with night session tickets doing, killing time buying overpriced food and beer?

How does it work, is it still the people from the day session? What are the people with night session tickets doing, killing time buying overpriced food and beer? Yeah, it's still day session. They don't kick the fans out until the match is over. So that will prolong the wait for Venus-Mirza about another 30 minutes just waiting for all the fans to leave and all the night session fans to enter. But at least they get to drink beer, listen to music, and watch Fed 5th set on TV.

Bagh vs. Lleyt could be quite funny with all those drunk Aussies and Cyprusses. Actually here Mary Carillo was saying that she hates how you can buy beer at every concession stand throughout the day at the AO. She was ragging on the tournament and saying fans get too boisterous and out of control, and that the tournament refs are hypocrites saying that they're gonna crack down on bad behavior from the fans while serving so much beer. However, I think with Aussies, there'd be more of an outrage if they weren't serving beer everywhere. They'd prolly strike!
