Sharapova is marketed as a gorgeous, yet athletic Princess. Where's the difference. I meant that Ivanovic's marketing pitch is often how she's the warm, supernice player who smiles on court and is friends with everyone, the polar opposite of that stone cold bitch Sharapova.

It would be fantastic if she could shout at him during a match to just fucking leave. She'd hold a special place in my heart, too, if she did that. But it will never happen. Don't bet on it. Maria says she speaks her mind with her father. And she could not have been happy when she had to clean up another of her father's public relations disasters with his throat slash gesture after Maria routed Henin in the quarterfinals. Even though Maria denied his throat slash gesture meant what it looked like she had to answer questions about it after playing what was arguably the best match of her career. Sharapova already has a tenuous realtionship with the media and has alot of haters to go along with her immense worldwide popularity. Yuri's actions often hurt and likely embarrass Maria the way a problem childs behaviour embarrasses his parents. Only with Maria it's the other way around with her father being the problem child.

Maybe Ana is really like that.

why is the throat slash a big deal? Probably because of well publicized stories of beheadings in the news the last few years. The NFL won't allow the throat slash anymore and I can't blame them. It looks terrible no matter what the offender meant by it.

Well, her ability to convincingly express emotions such as joy certainly gives her a leg up on Sharapova in that regard.
