Good luck to my fave wimp at the $150K event in the Evil Duchy! He plays Jarkko in the 1R and I know the Finn has zero support here.

Haaa. Hackie actually likes Richard too, but Jarkko is her number 1 man, I think

Brinyi, this wouldn't be anything like your Stevenson support of yore, would it?

Yay! A rare no-anxiety match for Ti-Rich fans. It must be his Thanksgiving present to us! What a mensch he is!

Next up is Sasa Tuksar (CRO)

Tuksar is a 21yo qualifier - has won a couple of Satellites and a Futures in Croatia this year and has been qualifying for quite a few Challengers in recent months.

samantha stevenson is an "earth mother" as we used to call it in hippie jargon.

You used to root for Stevenson? That doesn't bode well for Richard at all!

You used to root for Stevenson? That doesn't bode well for Richard at all! Of course not -- why do you think he has been blowing so fiercely?

Of course not -- why do you think he has been blowing so fiercely? Thank goodness you left Nadal to Dina and I. All he's had was a broken foot. That's nothing compared to just blowing!

Thank goodness you left Nadal to Dina and I. Hey, don't forget about me! I was rooting for Raffy long, long ago, calling him first Archangel:angel: and then, foolishly, as you know, the Spanish Gasquet before you guys were born! Okay, maybe not born, but before you were legal US drinking age! Anyway, I'm a proud member of his team, too. Olé!

Dina still isn't legal US drinking age And unless you started rooting for him when he was 15, you didn't have me beat either

REmember when you couldn't go through an interview with either Nadal or Gasquet without the press bringing up a potential budding rivalry? Thank goodness they let that drop. Hopefully they'll wait until it's relevant until bringing it up again That might prevent Rafa from doing stupid things like playing on a busted foot because he doesn't want to see like a sissy for retiring against Gasquet

The French press really hyped Gasquet up and I would really like him to do well. Though I am not sure how the Monfils performances will effect him.

And unless you started rooting for him when he was 15, you didn't have me beat either Aha, but I did! He and Gasquet were just 15 when Tombeau introduced them to RNS-thread awareness. ;D We had a big thing about players who were 15 at that time. Which we pretty much had to give up because so few players do anything at that age any more. Your girl Golovin early this year being a rare exception. Dina is under 21! I did not know that!

All he's had was a broken foot. That's nothing compared to just blowing! Rafa also blew a couple of matches while serving for them like in Cinncinatti but we'll forget about that as eh wasn't fully fit Janie I remember first hearing about rafa when you called him archangel;) and yeah I'm 20

Yes, I admit, my early interest is more than offset by my denseness! My nephew said to tell you Hi, btw. As I posted in the Question thread just now. But wanted to make sure you did not miss this important development as this relationship nears the where-to-hold-the-wedding phase ...
