Wouhou, Ouanna's day in the sun has finally arrived! His old pals Tsonga and Monfils must be shaking in their boots. Ouanna has a WC into the Guadeloupe Challenger. An interesting field there, including O.Rochus, J.Blake (who needed three sets to defeat Pierre-Lud Duclos), S.Bubka, G.Mina, and V.Pospisil. Already eliminated are F.Serra ( ), Spanky, Naud (lost to Dan Evans, TTR), and G.LittleBread.

SOUSA, Pedro (POR) qualified at the Baranquilla Challenger, and had a couple of nice wins over D.Junqueira and J.Ward. A showdown with the more highly-ranked SOUZA, Joao (BRA) is not forthcoming, however, since the latter lost 1R to F. BAGNIS.
Pedro will next play rampant Argy Guido PELLA.

One of the rare genuine Kazakhs, 31yo Alexey KEDRYUK, has reached the final of the Futures event in his home town of Almaty. Cue the anthem! At the Swiss Futures, former Petits As semifinalist Robin Roshardt, now unranked, will get back on the rankings after a 1R win. He will have to be sharp to defeat J. "Gorilla" Goodall in the 2R. Brydan Klein has returned to AUS fror a $15K. He lost 4 & 0 in the quarters to former jr #1 Jason Kubler. 19yo former top jr, Bosnian Damir Dzumhur, has his ranking at a respectable 304 and is in the semis at the Cividino, ITA $10K. His QF victim was Andrea Agazzi. Potty-mouthed AO jr Champ Luke Saville was a 1R loser at the Kofu $10K, 2 & 3 to another RNS, 19yo Yasutaka Uchiyama.

Jaziri still alive in Barletta. I accidentally went to the first page of this thread instead of the last page, and found myself back in 2004. Very confusing results!

My new favorite player is Tuna Altuna from Turkey! He's not very good and he rarely wins but his name makes up for that.
I shall talk about his results on a weekly basis, that is up till Wednesday at best.
This week he lost in the first round of his home event to a famously named Richard Becker, 46 46.
Wanted to post a pic of him but he looked very young in those 3 I could find, while the rest were all the pics of some hot blonde women who might also be Tuna. They did not look very Turkish.

There's that very cool ATP Challenger tour intro provided on all of the livestreams this week. Sadly the intro keeps rolling on even though there's a match going on at the moment. They need to fix that up. Even if it's pretty to look at, I'd prefer a tennis match.
