Rabid Pratty fans are probably arriving in Hurleyville in droves, even as we type! Megan Falcon seems to have turned white, too.

Somewhat rampant Sophia Melikishvili GEO [Q] def. sinking Stephanie Dubois CAN [7]: 6-3 7-5 "She was playing a lot of high balls. I was attacking from the baseline, but I made the error before she did." -- S. Dubois What is it with these damn moonballing Georgians???

At least Steph did not blame the court, à la Scotsbrat! ;D
And Megan M-L has 2 years of college left, so she may yet turn white like the other Megans did! We need to keep a close eye on her!

That's okay, Hurley. I don't blame you for sitting this one out. As usual in Challengers, all the best people lost early in Hurleyville!

Coincidentally, a kindly poster at wtaworld named "Hurley" of all things , posted this information on today's Hurleyville results: "I called. Pin won the singles, Argeri/Sobral won the doubles. No scores given"Thank you, "Hurley"!!! and WOOHOO ARGI/ BRAZIL TEAM!!!! Former journeywoman/Kourni wannabe/Once somewhat proud Barbie, that would be Ashley Harkleroad, was a losing finalist in both singles and doubles. She's getting closer!

ptken's report, stolen from wtaworld:
Singles Final Camille Pin d. Ashley Harkleroad 2-6, 6-2, 6-3
This was a really interesting match, Camille Pin has absolutely no pace on her shots and has a horrible serve, but she fights really well, she actually out-scrapped Ashley in this match which surprised me. It was really hot, and I think by the end of the match both players were affected by the heat, but Camille handled it better. Ashley tried to be agressive, and come to the net, but sometimes Ashley's volleys are just .
Anyway, it was still a good week for Ashley, and she looks in incredible shape, so it's looking good for her to keep moving back up the rankings. Her shots looked really solid, I think she was just tired from a long week.
Also, both players had good speeches after the match, Camille is really a sweet girl, she was talking about how nice Ashley was, and that she was sad for Ashley. Ashley also had nice things to say about Camille, saying she was disappointed but happy for Camille. Camille definitely was very happy to win the title.
Anyway, I'm going to be rooting for Camille in the future, it was nice to see someone who obviously didn't have the talent of some other players, really working hard, but i'm still really dissapointed for Ashley.
