That's great work, Nancy Drew! Another Brie clue: I got yelled at last night on wtworld by a new poster with weird religious overtones, who did not appreciate my Brie-bashing. The poster denied being Brie's mom or dad, but gave the impression they were related somehow, because of how personally they took any criticism of poor, hard-working Brie. Though the person seemed to claim religiousness, they engaged in some insulting, which was enjoyed by all, but which seemed so un-Christian! Sadly, this poster said they would not be coming back to the evil, criticizing board, which is a shame, because I wanted to ask if Brie had any siblings named after other French cheeses. All of which led me to wonder if Brie is the home-schooled, religious-right sort of rich girl. Link?

Lolz. That's great. Hopefully it's not Brie, herself. She might get in trouble like that Aussie player did.

like that Aussie player did. Which Aussie player and what happened? I'm at a loss trying to remember her name... she was a mediocre junior at the time. Anyway, she said some other player was gay, and said player's mother read the board and supposedly threatened to sue. Junior tennis girl freaked and whined to the admins to delete all her posts and anything she ever did at wtaworld.

Look for the posts from "good one" on pgs. 5 & 6 (and if you look back a page or two, you will see Brie's whole record from 2006, which I had so helpfully posted for all to see  ) www.wtaworld.com/showthread.php?t=275606&page=5

Heh...she can't work smilies either Also, sorry about your pro tennis career not working out, Janie But that thread confirms that the >500 rule only applies to direct entry...Cheese can buy as many wild cards into big events as she wants.

Not only did she attack my poor failed tennis career, but what about that dig saying I probably can't find anything under my name on google! Lucky Brie, to have someone close to battle so very well on her behalf. You can tell that everyone around was thoroughly convinced by those wise arguments. Good old "good one", though. Too bad they left. This has been the most fun I've had on tennis message boards since 2003.

Yes, Cupac.
A >500 will never get direct entry, even in Tashkent, so what's the point of that rule.

Yeah, I'm glad Eggy clarified that. Though actually you had clarified it correctly before he did, Hurley. You are the !

I should have known.
Stanford may as well cancel qualies now.

Yeah, I'm glad Eggy clarified that. Though actually you had clarified it correctly before he did, Hurley. You are the ! I'm pretty sure I knew it because of him, though. The circle of life. Leena, buy a WC into Stanford. Get hubby and Andrew to pay.

Me and Hubby are too poor.
Andrew won't even a penny of his millions to get me a birthday present, which he promised. That reminds me I should block him.

Poor Leena! I want Leena to be able to play. Leena would never attack us for ridiculing her results, I'm sure.

No no. Just blow a huge lead, get defaulted for ball/umpire/opponent abuse, and say "She thinks she's the fucking Meng Yuan" in your PC, and you'll be ours forever.

I particularly liked the part where her sister says she was googling to check Bries results. Thats the very definition of optimism.

I particularly liked the part where her sister says she was googling to check Bries results. Thats the very definition of optimism. Wow, I missed all of that. I never went back to the thread till now, so I didn't realize the person came back and finally admitted she is Brie's sister. She's not making any sense, though. Randy H makes good points -- Brie should be playing in $10k qualies -- but her family thinks she's WAY too good to waste her time on those. Unreal ... So at least we learned she's 17, and not 19 ... and she's the next Sharapova, just you wait ... so glad I went back and learned so much ...

Brie has earned her way to $10k MD seedings.
Hater.

Depends on which $10k. Dokic is currently on the alternate list for qualies in a $10k next week, and her rank is 617. But sure, $10 main draws would be a good place for Brie. Especially now that her ranking will be around 700, with her Bangalore and Dubai loser points -- and even higher when she gets the expected Doha WC loser points. But Brie hasn't played in a single $10k in a year. What a shame, because maybe after a few months of playing them, she could start winning some matches.

Just have to play the right $10k's. They're usually in African, Central American, and Asian countries.
But, Brie wouldn't fare much better anyway. Despite our joking, Brie is far from the worst ranked player on tour. And she'd probably get the occasional win as there's a lot of bumpkins in some draws. But, she'll still get 6-0 6-1'd by anyone with the slightest bit of talent.

Is she really that far from being the worst? She barely wins games. Off of ANYONE.
Sure, she's better than Nancy. But...

Ok, I take that back.
But, I think Brie is better than say the Veronica Queen/Sissy Spacek level. And some of the Nigerian ranked players.
