Well as you know finally Tommy was beaten in the Spanish championship by Rafael Nadal (to what extend does this surprise you all ) However the good news come from another home competition, King cup, her won it beating easily David Ferrer in the final 6-3. 6-2 Congrats to Tommy. By the way all is talking about the final success of N generation with Ferrero and Federer winning GS; and poining at :shoot: Roddick as possible USO champion, for me it's too early to talk about favourites but why don't we include Tommy in there

Propi Can I ask you a question? or 2? How come the King Cup is on the same week as the Championship of Spain? And the same players attended both? it seems. Which is more important tournament to the players? I can understand why ppl think Pandy will win USO, I just hope it won't happen. I'm really happy with Tommy's progress this year. After standing still for the past 2 years, I think it's about time he breaks thru. And I hope he does before Nadal captures all the up-and-coming youngster glory.

Well about the two competitions being played the same week, it's just unexplicable, at least for me, and for most of the Spanish, the players who take part on it must be those who have an early exit on National championship or at least, earlier thatn expected........ More important, it's the national championship, as almost all are commited there, there can be seen nice matches, and so................ Anyway as soon as I can I'll but a tennis magazine and try to answer all that questions!

Tommy Watch out for Nico Go and beat him and then beat Carlos (he's won too much of these mini titles anyway)

Well, it's Mariano now, not Carlos - but since Robredo has already lost to him as well this year, in Hamburg, it may not be a better draw. Either way though, if he beats Lapentti in the semis, then him or Zabaleta will win their second title tomorrow. About time too - they deserve more than one for their entire career.

Tommy beat Burgsmuller, 6-7(7) 6-3 7-5 Too close for my blood, but he made it ;D Next up, Vanek, who beat Costa, which was a really sweet thing to do. But now he's toast
