"He drove me crazy for many years. I'm his client. He has a great talent of making people crazy on the court…. He knows how to play. He has a lot of years of experience. You can see that even Joachim Johansson, he's in great shape, and he's playing really great tennis and serving well, forehand, backhand, there is nothing wrong with his game. He manage to lose to Santoro." -- M. Safin

I'll never forget his classic line, "I look at him and I forget how to play tennis."

Congratulations to you, mighty gnome! I'm so proud of you! Fabrice plays Feli Lopez next, another bug server. It would be funny if he makes the fourth round out of a part of the draw that included Feli, Pim-Pim and Ivo the Giant.

Feli is pretty unstable. I hope mighty Gnome will drive him nutz If it is not one match too many for Gnome, he seems to tire out at the later stages of tournaments. No surprise when your wife is so hot hot hot

It looks like Fabrice's glorious run is coming to an end.

Yes, everything has an end. But he did a great match. Maybe he lacked agressivity at some times but hey, it was Moya on the other side of the court, and he was excellent. And seeing Carlos's relieved and smiling face at the end of the match, when they shook hands, Fabrice has really pushed Moya... Thanks Fab for the good vibrations you've given me so far!

Fabrice is back in the top 50 again -- he checks in at #47, passing both Saulnier and Llodra. He is now the Frenchy #2. ;D

Frenchy Number 2? Fabrice, my twin, you're great. But you'll always be Number 1 for me...

As for the Wimbledon final, well, dreaming's never been harmfull...

Indications are that it's nothing too serious. Reuters says that he "fait l'impasse sur le rendez-vous floridien afin de préparer au mieux la saison sur terre battue."

Well if that's the reason, it's OK for me! I'll be in the stands in RG. I hope I'll see him play. And if possible, a match like the one he's played against Arnaud last year.

Woohoo, I hope you see him too! I'll take pics of course, if that's possible...I'm waiting for that moment for so long...I was so disappointed when I learned he wouldn't play in Strasbourg. I could have finally met him sooner!
