You! Wow, sorry I missed that! Belated congratulations, then! In retrospect, I'm happy the Wiz won. The Bulls' fans' great memories aren't that old, and the Wiz fans, well, they have no great memories! So, well done to them. I am psyched for tonight's 2 "WIN OR GO HOME" games! Go pacers with Cheryl Miller's brother! Go Rockets; do it for Sid; he's only got Henman! Kill, kill, kill the opposition! Do like Justine did to Batty!

Despite their horrific yellow outfits -- and what's with the 2 guys wearing yellow SHOES, are you insane?? -- the Pacers have started to look good -- props to that big-name star who's been pouring it on, Fred Jones! You the man, Freddie! Keep it up w/ those 3s!

MVP shoulda been Shaq. Round 2 got off to a pretty dull start yesterday. I hope things start getting a little more exciting.

MVP shoulda been Shaq. Probably, but if it's a statement against back-'em-in, elbow-in-your-mush basketball, sign me up.

Wiz looked like :shit: last night, and I hope they at least win a game just so Barkley shuts the hell up for at least one night. Go run for governor, fatty! One of the fun things about going to Wizards games was ogling hottie Christian Laettner, and I'm glad to see he's alive and getting minutes on the Heat

But I must agree, so far these second round games are pretty boring. Come on, Detroit-Indiana! Fight fight fight! Here comes Ron Artest and he's carrying a Gatorade bottle and a broken television camera!
There is a middling piece on Artest in this month's GQ (bland-looking dude from the crappy "Star Wars" movies on cover). He's an idiot. If he had saved all his money he wouldn't need to be playing, but as it is he's spendthrift and easily used, even by his own freeloading mother.
Next game should be good. Steve v. Dirk! White guys running the show! 3/5 Compromise back in effect! Sit down and shut up, Rosa Parks!
/me is kicked in the face by Ron Artest

Another blowout Barkley can be funny; on Nash's babies: "Thank God his twins look like his wife."

Another blowout Barkley can be funny; on Nash's babies: "Thank God his twins look like his wife." Let's face it, Barkley has been more entertaining than any of the last 6 or so games. where's the beef?? Come on, low teams, fight back! So much meekness. Justine could get out there and put up a better fight than this! Only one NBA player looks hot to me, and it ain't Laettner: Allen Iverson. He is SOOOOO sexy when he (once in a while!) flashes that huge smile. :lust::lust::lust: However, everyone in Philly is gaga over Kyle Korver, who looks just like that actor from That Seventies' Show. But he doesn't do anything for me (maybe just too young!)

LA really IS la-la land! This from the LA Times today: "The Lakers have increased prices in two of their nine season-ticket pricing plans, raising courtside seats and about 2,500 lower-level seats by 5%.
"Courtside seats were increased from $2,000 to $2,100 per game. Seats in six lower-level sections between the baskets — 101, 102, 110, 111, 112 and 119 — were raised from $200 to $210 per game."Yes, why not raise prices now, when the revamped team has generated so much excitement this year? Everyone will be falling all over themselves to grab great seats to see if the Lakers can win 35 games next year!! :ass:

Barkley can be funny; on Nash's babies: "Thank God his twins look like his wife." Barkley had another funny when they showed Nash walking to the arena in a t-shirt and track pants -- "He must spend a fortune on the wardrobe -- for his wife!" Um, I am starting to wonder about Sir Charles and Mrs Nash!

I don't think you can call her Mrs. Nash as I believe they are not married!
My guess is Sir Charles really jealous of Nash. Nash is here (in Phoenix) less than a year and almost makes everyone forget about the glory days of Barkley's time as a Sun player. And with the way Barkley talking about the Suns (even he lives here), he becomes the scorn of local media now while Nash is the darling.

It was pretty funny watching Nash being selfish and score 48 points. Actually, it was brilliant of Dallas to take away his passing options. Not sure how well it will work a second time...

Can't decide whether I want the Suns or Mavs to win this series. I guess the Suns have a whole country of hosers rooting for them so maybe I should go for the Mavs with their Marvelous ex-Spur, Mr Avery. As for these Sonics, they are darned good, but I hate these buttercup-colored uniforms! and one guy's got yellow shoes on, too! What is this, La Cage Aux Folles? Wear manly clothes! I will really suffer if my Spurs lose any more games to these buttercups!!!

My problem is that I'm uptight because of the way the Spurs blew their 2-0 lead and lost to those odious Lakers last year. I've never understood what happened! They were the superior team; why did they FOLD like some Hidden World girl facing Serena?? That is not what I expect of my teams. Can it happen again? If it does I will abandon them, I swear. I hate folders!

Oh that Tony. He has a policy to only play well in game 1 and 2 of any playoff series. No one has been able to convince him that it's time to let that policy expire!
