I am watching a replay of qualifying for Silverstone GP and the commentators at SPEED were talking about Kimi's tires, and how they were built for temps much hotter than what it is in Britian this weekend. However, the commentators think that Kimi's camp has hatched a plan to overcome his last few bad races.

Just saw the final qualifying result for the day, and Kimi's 12?! WTF is going on with them? Kimi But Mclarens do have problems recently. Coulthard didn't get good results either. About the qualification, it's the driver who comes out later who will be more favoured. Because if you come out late, the circuit will be already warmed up, and you can copy the route of other drivers as well. FIA intend to use this policy to encourage those small teams, because the leader will be the first to qualify, normaly they won't dominate the 1st quali. But it looks that Schumi and Williams drivers still dominate it.

The commentators on SPEED think that the new McLaren won't debut this year. Well obviously, if it's giving them these kinds of problems! Like I said before, they were talking about how his tires were really suited for much hotter weather, and since it started to rain during the qualy session, you can only imagine how badly they misjudged that one ARGH, it's all just so upsetting. I wish I hadn't broken my promise to not watch til he did better Pffft, at least Coulthard won't be one of the first people to run qualifying tomorrow. Sad state of affairs that he's becoming their new star

Mmmmmm, nice picture Kiro Well, great news from today! Kimi didn't win the British GP, BUT: He did make the podium, third and most importantly HE BEAT THE SHUMIS!!!!!!!!!! He was a good 15 seconds ahead of Michael Shumacher, and I dunno where Ralf ended up but I also don't care. I'm so pleased he managed to turn around after a few bad races and make the podium again!! Good for him. The "nice" Ferrari driver, Barrichello, won, and you could tell how much it meant to him.

It's quite a dramatic one! I'm afraid Silverstone won't be holding F1 racing next year Kimi fought very hard today!

Yes, I just saw your post. I'll be watching at least some of it on the replay tonight, just to see for myself the comedy of errors Why won't Silverstone get the GP back? Because the circuit is old, a lot of accidents happened. In 1998 Schumacher crashed at Silverstone, broke both his legs. And there has been some problems in safety, board & lodging, too. It seems the race has not been managed well enough. It's said that Silverstone will be given up. The crazy running man won't help it, maybe he is just against British GP, who knows. To make things even worse, yesterday after the F1-race, there was a race of old style racing cars, during that race an English driver aged 56 crashed his car and died

Ralf Shumacher crashed into Kimi and Rubens Barrichello at the beginning of the German GP and took all 3 of them out of the race.
