Henrik played 45 mins in Barca's 0-0 draw at Real Sociedad. The last league game of the season. According to reports he sucked . Furthermore, he's not picked for the Sweden squad which will play a WC qualy against Malta and a training game vs. Norway. Although he will play in the Celtic captain Jackie McNamara's farewell match.

'S' mag has listed the 100 best Swedish players ever. Henrik was ranked #14. Check out the beginning of their interview with him: Interviewer: Are you happy with your rank? Henrik: 14th? Well...Who's before me? Interviewer counts down the players ranked 1-13. H: One could say I'm not entirely happy. I'm most definitely better than #14 on the list. I know what I'm capable of and I know where I should be placed, you just have to look at what I've won. I:Any names come as a surprise to you? H: I won't say if I'm surprised or not. I'm not going to enter the debate, but I thought I was better than #14. I:Who's your number 1? H:It's difficult. I haven't seen Nordahl and that generation play I so can't really have an opinion about them. But Brolin was awesome. I:Your colleague in the national team Zlatan Ibrahimovic is two places before you at #12. Any comments? H:He's had a great season and has developed tremendously the last couple of years. I:What makes you a great football player? H: It's up to others to judge. You have your experts for that. ... Sour grapes from the stoneface.

A Henrik thread? I love Henrik! He's my all time favourite footballer. I am a huge Celtic fan and Henrik's one of our best ever players. He was just amazing! I hope he does well at Barcelona next season after his injury.

Nadal's quite good at footy. Can we not get an Erik Edman thread for Spurs' wonderful Swede! Edman is from Habo. Another Swedish smalltown neighbouring the smalltown I come from. www.vastsverige.com/upload/bat/pdf/karta_03.pdfJust north of Jönköping(at the bottom right corner of the map): Habo=Edman, 40-50 km north of Habo: Hjo=aphex, next to Hjo: Tibro=Söderling. Famous people from famous places.

interesting. He scored 1 unbelievable goal for Spurs last year and played quite well overall. Its good to see Henrik coming back, coming from Scotland originally I've seen how popular he is, even with non-Celtic fans he just comes across as a general all round nice guy.

Henrik played and scored the first goal in Sweden's friendly against the Czech Republic this Wednesday. Sweden, thx to the goalie and some luck, won 2-1 in Göteborg.

Rosenborg scored the other goal right? I saw him play for Ajax today. He scored but seems to have trouble playing in a 4-3-3 system. Anyway, I won't spoil THE Henrik Larsson thread by talking about another player

Sweden is 4-4-2 country to 80-90%. But Zlatan adapted. Btw: arent you PSV, Francine?

Henrik played only 6 mins of the return leg of the Spanish Supercup Real Betis vs. Barca. Betis won 2-1 but Barca won on aggregate 4-2.

PSV? God no, I have a season ticket for FC Utrecht Which makes me anti Ajax, so I wouldn't mind if Rosenborg doesn't adapt

Barca met Juve in the Joan blah blah cup/friendly/whatever at Camp Nou. Juve won on penalties after 2-2 at full time. Swede match Zlatan vs. Henke was a draw I guess. Henrik played almost all 90 mins, ran a lot and worked hard, but didn't have many opportunities. He was replaced by Maxi Lopez.

Hungary-Sweden 0-1 WC qualy. I don't know how Henrik did, I didn't see the match (w-o-r-k ). I know he played. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Sweden's best player nowadays, did his duty and scored. Croatia drawed away against Malta , so Sweden now tops their WC qualy group. Next match for Sweden is Croatia away. And Croatia has to win now. It ain't gonna be pretty...

THE Henrik was on the starting lineup in La Liga for the first time this season. Barca won 4-1 away at Real Betis. He didn't score, but he dived for a penalty and had an assist to an assist to an assist or something... In short: he was AWESOME! ;D

Barca for sticking with the ugly red colour on their shorts. And they've changed the size of the stripes. It's the modern day football disease: change the look of the outfit every year, have different away jerseys for different competitions, only to make more money from the poor fans. I hate it.
