What happened to Phaneuf anyway? Wasn't there controversy or something that Jennifer Robinson stole her spot on the team a couple years back?

Phaneuf was a potential hottie at one point, i wonder if that ever fell through. She was injured all this year, and didn't compete. A pity, she's fairly decent.
Jennifer didn't steal her spot - Cynthia and her coach decided it would be best for her to stick to juniors as her winning skate canada and nationals was totally unexpected.

Enough talk about ugly skaters! Let us talk of Zhang and how she rules. How could Tatiana have said she "deserved" her fall? That has to be some sort of misinterpretation. She and Max looked concerned during the performance.
Male Zhang has a hot body.

Fake judging as usual. I'm confused as to how so many other sports remain "legitimate" despite being judge based when figure skating can't keep it together for a single event When did Xue Shen get her teeth fixed? She looks plain now

Obligatory racist statement asking how you can tell the Chinese skaters apart.
Tati Tomianina is a bitch! New fave! She gets the short Russian nickname!

How could Tatiana have said she "deserved" her fall? That has to be some sort of misinterpretation. She and Max looked concerned during the performance. This is how I understood it: she said that the Zhangs were extremely agressive during the warm-up and didn't allow the other pairs to prepare normally. Then she added that it perhaps took too much energy from them but it was their decision and they have to live with it. Plus she gave them a really cold handshake at the medals ceremony, and she hugged the bronze medal winners. I don't know, at first I thought I didn't understand her well, but the others have heard something similar, so... Male Zhang has a hot body. Yes, he certainly does.

Ah, thanks!
As far as the Zhangs being scored too high, TT/MM were scored waaaaaaaaaaay too high as well, so whatever.

Joubert 4th! Once Johnny Weird dies of a heroin overdose, the bronze will be his! If Brian skates a clean free he can beat Johnny, since he has quads and Johnny doesn't. However, he won't. But he still wins the hawt man contest of male figure skating. Not that this says much.

Quads mean nothing since it's all fixed!
Cancel the men's events. They're all ugly! The US team especially. It's sad that Brian really is the hawtest.

Yes, Brian has zee jumps. He will win! *cough silver cough* La victoire! Your man Buttle cried I very nearly stopped making fun of him when he did But he's still sixth, which is...terrible. There are only four good figure skaters in the world, apparently.

SAUZE d'OULX, Italy (AP) -- Maybe football really is Jeremy Bloom's thing. The two-sport star finished sixth on the Olympic moguls course Wednesday in what will probably be the last stop in a skiing career that forced him to put his football ambitions on hold.

Unlike the US, we have lots of really good athletes in team sports like hockey or curling where you can only win one medal. In most of the individual sports, if the often lone canuck hope screws up, there's no one to pick up the slack.

But, I love Sasha so much. She best be showing LOTS of skin in her performances. And hopefully doesn't put her hair back too far.
