No. I've always liked golf. I used to like Tiger because he was an elitist prick. And now he probably is more so. I think he's even more surly and unpleasant on course than he used to be... I'm surprised the media is letting that go.
And I won't be a fan of Tiger again. Not because he's a slut, but he handled of this so stupidly and is just a nuisance now. That aura of invincibility he once had is gone. Losing to Yang hurt too. He's also getting uglier.

Okay, I was wrong.
I was in the car for some time during the round today, and the DJ was all "Tigre loses it at the Masters!!!1" and such, and even the CBS interview dude called him on it post-round.

Good to hear that there's something... but, Tiger loudly swore on Saturday, and the announcers were still spouting the Buddhist bullshit today and ignoring his childish reactions all day. I'm sure Johnny Miller will not be so nice.

Buddhist, schmuddist; that religious bit was all part of his expensive PR man's shtick. Tigre's Buddhism is about as convincing as Mel Gibson's "I love the Jews, I only hate them when I'm drunk."
cat, if you think Tigre can win Leena back in the next few years, you don't know much about women.
Still incredible to me that Lefty played so poorly all year and then comes up with this. Ivanisevic at Wimbledon 2001?

That happens a lot in golf, actually.
Fat Dave winning the Open Championship in 2001 is much more fitting. Did nothing the year before that, or 8 years after.

How is the fat middle aged argentine doing? I forgot his name, he won like two slams, or however they are called in golf, out of the blue

Angel Cabrera. He was on hand as defending champion to put the ugly green jacket on Phil. He made the cut, came in 18th or something like that. Hope he'll win some more Slams; I like him. But then I always root for old guys and foreign guys. But yeah, you guys are right, in golf, it's not usually the in-form player who wins the Slams, except for Tigre, who's always in form.

This is next weekend! GET PUMPED.
How is Amy Mickelson, by the way? Anyone?

Don't rush me; I wait until the start date to get my Masters hatin' pumping. But wow, this year I might have to watch this a little, now that I have this bigger tv. Maybe I'll end up falling on my knees and worshipping The Cathedral of Golf (cue petrified tune -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vdy6ppK8Wr4 --) like the announcers do! As for Amy M, and also Mother M, I don't know. Hope they're doing okay.

I know! I just realized that a couple minutes ago, too. For some reason I even got excited, but Tigre has to play badly for that to continue for me, since I still hate him.

I hope you're right! So I saw that the Masters web site has a livestream going, so I hooked up my laptop to the tv with those wires I bought, and it's a great picture! WAY better than when I picked up a couple tennis matches this way; I guess the feed is a better one. So now I have the Masters live on my tv, with that somniferous Masters music playing , but I notice I'm still not actually looking at it much.

Sheesh, I expected to see guys at about -12 by now. Even at this hour, when some guys have been out there for hours, only one guy has a better score than anyone yesterday, and it's just by one shot: -8. Big wow! Huge opening for the veterans to pass yesterday's leaders.
