I doubt it. Martina isn't playing well enough to challenge Kim. Leena, you have doubted everything about her everytime she plays since the beginning of time. I didn't say she'd win, either. But I think it'll be a good match.

I'm sure she'll make the QF, and would destroy Elena Bovina much like their Philly matchup.
There. Positivity.
She's still losing to Kim, and soundly.

Vera is crushing the young Paszek. 4-0 already. Emilie has an early break on Hantuchova. Garbin is leading 4-0 as well. I like her. Molik is sucking.

Loit leads Hantuchova 6-4 0-3, one break down in the 2nd. I wasn't that optimistic going in, but she might just see off Dani.

Loit-Hantuchova 6-4 2-4.
Vera-Paszek 6-1 3-3.
Kanepi-Molik 6-1 3-4.
Razzano-Bondarenko 1-6 3-1.

Actually, I lied. Razzano-Bondarenko is now 3-6 3-2.
Mirza is going down in flames to Nakamura.
Loit now trails 2-5 in the second set. That one's probably done.

I wonder if Yak, Chak and Nak willall reach the fourth round? If there is a God. Kanepi-Molik 6-1 3-6 1-0. Loit was broken in the first game of the third set, but now holds breakpoint right back. Voracova has rallied from 1-6 1-3 down to Garbin to gain a 5-4 edge in set two, serving for it. Chak-Granville 6-2 5-6.

I fully expect him to make the final.

Bondarenko serving for the match against the Raz.
Granville surprises me by breaking the Chak for the set. 2-6 7-5.
Loit and Hantuchova are engaged in a game for the ages.
Kanepi-Molik 6-1 3-6 1-2.

Garbin d. Voracova 6-1 7-5. Loit-Hantuchova 6-4 3-6 1-3. I think Bondarenko finished La Razz 3 and 4. Molik leading Kanepi 4-2.

Molik with the big comeback victory! 1-6 6-3 6-2 over Kanepi. Has she done enough to get back into the top 100 yet? Chak-Granville 6-2 5-7 4-1. LDL is getting smoke by Na Li. Loit is trying desperately to hold serve to stay close to Daniela. Has a gamepoint.

In the unlikely event that tennis media decision makers gravitate to this Board, here is a plaintive plea to the Tennis Programme Director of ESPN:
Get Screwitt off my screen now please.
Put the hoods on the cameras and take the crews to an emblematic match such as Radwanska/Ivanovic.
Thank you.

Dammit, Loit.
Hopefully Harkleroad can repeat her RG heroics over Hanturexia in the next round, because ALG certainly won't beat her.

Kim is sure looking impressive. That threatened to become a competitive match for a moment; Morigami had gamepoint for 4-4, but Kim just blitzed her from there. Martina vs. Kim is going to be good. When doesn't Kim look impressive in the early rounds of slams. Even with her broken hip and back last year, she was killing the scrubs. I give any top player a shot against Kim in the later rounds of a major.

This is a pathetic effort by Groenefeld. It was 6-2 4-0, she finally managed to hold serve. 4-1 now.
Meanwhile, Radwanska and Ivanovic are headed into a third set.

Kostanic Tostitos is one game from upsetting the Aussie #1.
And um ... Schnyder beat Peng. Is Peng ever going to do anything? She's been so surpassed by Na Li. *So* surpassed.
